For that reason, we’re here to help curate your experience and itinerary to be the best it can be. From booking surf lessons and ATV tours to arranging your rental car or shuttle, to organizing your private chef and massages, we’re here for you.
Security Nosara is absolutely a wonderful community and we can't wait to share all the good things that it has to offer. We care a great deal about our clients and for that reason, we also want to make you aware of one of the véry few downsides to Nosara: petty theft (they usually are out for your cash and your belongings as in any other tourism area). We would like to understand the dynamics of the group, so we can take care of you, put you in the right house and downsize the chance of you having any issues with this. Please feel free to inquire for more information. If not included, the property manager can arrange a dinner guard at an additional cost. The guest is responsible for securing and protecting their personal belongings and valuables left in and around the Property and for ensuring that all security features available are enabled every time they leave the Property.
Internet and Electricity In the jungle, the utility infrastructure is unpredictable. There may be power, phone, and/or internet outages and interruptions in service. The Guest should not leave electronics plugged in during rainstorms. There is no guarantee that the Internet will always work. We have an excellent mobile phone signal with Kolbi and data rates are very reasonable. If internet access is always crucial, we encourage you to bring an unlocked phone and get a Kolbi SIM card. Please note that the Homeowner nor the Property Manager has no control over these situations and no refunds or discounts will be offered for outages or interruptions to these services. If there's any problem with the Property, please report it to the Property Manager.
Water During the dry season months of December through April, the Property may have low water pressure due to temporary or scheduled water outages. This Property has a water reserve tank for Guests during water outages. We will do our best to notify Guests of any interruptions in water service or regularly scheduled water shut-offs.
Jungle creatures We make every effort to present a well-cleaned home for your arrival. However, it is a jungle out there and nature can move in at any time. The Homeowners and Property Manager are not responsible for the fumigation or removal of insects that may enter the Property during the Guest's stay. Even though the house is regularly fumigated on a maintenance schedule, expect to see ants, beetles, spiders, and other assorted insects year-round. Bugs are especially active during the rainy season, May through November. Every effort is made to present a clean home at Check-In. To minimize the impact of bugs on your vacation, please keep food wrapped, store it in the refrigerator, clean kitchen counters and screen doors closed at all times (particularly at night).
Refunds No refunds will be given for natural disasters, water outages, internet outages, security breaches, personal property losses, or nearby construction noise. This area is a rapidly growing community. There is no guarantee there will not be construction nearby.
Insurance We encourage all Guests to purchase Traveler Insurance in case of unforeseen circumstances, accidents, or other issues that may prohibit Guests from travelling or fulfilling Rental terms.

The home was beautiful and clean, surrounded by jungle with howler monkeys that visited every day! Property management was really attentive and responsive to our needs. We felt safe with the security feature. Easy walk to Pelada. Hope to come back again soon!
The home and area are absolutely amazing! Franscesa and Krissya were great help. They scheduled our shuttle service to and from the airport, had a vehicle ready for us upon arrival, made sure we had a few grocery items we requested, helped set up a private dinner and massage service! They were great to work with! We can’t wait to visit again

DO NOT STAY HERE
We arrived at this property and there was no running water. After a day of traveling we were looking forward to showering, cooking at the rental, and finally doing laundry. But we couldn’t do any of that with no water. We notified the property and they basically said the city turns off the water sometimes. They eventually sent a water truck, but we had spent half of our stay without water. We couldn’t brush our teeth, flush the toilet, or even have drinking water there. We had two guests who had a stomach bug and we couldn’t flush the toilets, so this was a huge issue. We asked that half our stay be refunded, and they only approved a tiny refund back to us. We spent a lot of money on this property and got almost nothing back haha wild! Not their fault the city turned the water off, but they certainly could’ve refunded for the extra money we had to spend on ample water and eating out since we couldn’t cook there. They would not budge though. Not good hosts at all. They have one thing in mind and it’s not your satisfaction, it’s their money. I’ve been a host before and certainly would have refunded for the inability to provide the most basic necessity. That is unacceptable. It apparently happens often, and you will not get your money back if you have to go stay somewhere else. So save the trouble, and just find another spot to stay.

Dear Micah,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and we apologize for the inconvenience you encountered during your stay.
As stated in our listing, water shortages are unfortunately common in our area, and while we strive to mitigate their impact, sometimes circumstances beyond our control arise. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by the temporary interruption in water supply during your visit.
Upon being notified of the issue, the property manager promptly took action to coordinate the refill of the water tank and provided bottled water to ensure you had access to drinking water during the outage. We also offered a refund to compensate for the inconvenience, along with the owner, and the property manager, as our priority is always our guests' comfort and satisfaction.
We sincerely hope you will consider giving us another opportunity to host you in the future, as we are dedicated to providing a positive and memorable experience for all our guests.
Fabulous stay at Casa Perla. Gorgeous home and very responsive staff. The pool was a highlight. And it was such a short walk to Playa Pelada, Playa Giones and all that those two beaches / communities have to offer. We look forward to returning.
Fantastic house with a jungle view right near the beach in playa Paleda. As an added bonus there is a 2 minute walk downhill to the best restaurant in the Nosara area.
