This enchanting, Federation weatherboard cottage has been lovingly restored to its original glory and exquisitely appointed with contemporary features and comforts.

The home comfortably sleeps six, but can accommodate up to eight with children. Boasting two large bedrooms and two additional sunrooms with single beds that can extend to Queens.

Alpine Days is close to Katoomba town centre, with local cafes, the cinema, art galleries and boutiques all in walking distance and within easy reach of local attractions such as The Three Sisters.

Lounge Quaint, elegant and comfortable are a few words guests have used to describe this space.

A navy base colour palette with accents in blush, timber detailing and inviting textures throughout, make this a restful space to watch a movie, listen to music or toast marshmallows by the open fireplace.

Those nostalgic childhood boardgames we all know and love (Monopoly, Connect 4, Guess Who) along with a selection of DVD s are provided and make a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.

Kitchen and Dining Fully equipped eat in Gas kitchen with contemporary turquoise splash back and crisp white cabinetry. Cook and chat with friends, while being warmed by an open gas fireplace. Or enjoy your afternoon tea at the dining table (that sits 6-8) overlooking the beautiful Japanese Maple in the backyard.

Queen Bedroom Premium DunloPillo pillows are set on the beds, however there are three additional pillow types, ranging from soft to firm, available for your preference.

These rooms are little gems.

Flooded with natural light through coloured glass windows and slightly tucked away from the main areas of the house, these rooms make wonderful reading nooks by day . bedrooms by night.

Single beds that sleep one adult, or extend to Queens for 2 children.

As these are sunrooms and used during the day for lounging and relaxing on, we ask that you make up the beds with the linen provided which is located in the drawers underneath.

Our large rear entertaining deck that overlooks a fully enclosed/fenced yard, is ideal for families with young children who enjoy running around.

Or if you re searching for some solitary time, grab a good book, your morning coffee and head out to the wrap around front verandah with matching green bench seat and double Adirondack swing and watch the world go by.
