The house was under reconstruction when we arrived. It was not habitable. Host spoke up using speakers at cabin when we coded to enter and said he had made a booking error. He offered us another smaller, less nice place. We accepted second option since it was late at night. We called VRBO when we were asked to move again by host after one night at “other” cabin due to more booking errors made by host. We called VRBO directly to state we did not want to move and agent negotiated an appropriate refund and ensured we did not have to move after one night. Overall an unpleasant experience.

Clean but modest
This a clean but modest house with low-end kitchen and hardware. For about the same price we could have stayed at a high-end hotel in South Lake Tahoe (we were a couple. This place makes more sense for a family or a group).

Hi Nick,
Sorry you weren't so satisfied with your stay. The rates were higher because you stayed over the July 4th weekend.

Nice little place!
Small little place. Good enough for a family of 4 and two dogs. First floor has 2 bed rooms and 2nd floor has a sofa that other can sleep in. Hard is fenced off for dogs and has plenty of space. Overall I recommended.

Pleasant Cabin with Great outside deck and fire pit
This cabin worked well for 6 adults and one dog. The back deck and fire pit are great, and the fenced in yard is perfect if you are traveling with a dog. It is a small cabin but we spent most of our time outside. Furniture was comfortable and kitchen is adequate if you are not doing a lot of cooking. Quiet neighborhood with responsive host. Upstairs hide-bed did not get good reviews. Would stay here again. Suspect it will just get better as owner seems to be slowly making improvements. (new windows, new deck, fire pit, bedrooms are painted and comfortable beds, remodeled bath.) Great area to visit and close access to hiking trails and stores.

Perfect for our Ski weekend
The cottage was clean and cozy. A great location and responsive owner. Jason communicated quickly and refunded my damage deposit in a timely fashion. I would not hesitate to rent this place again.
