The private cabin is set apart from the main house on a quiet property, only 16min to the lively town of Braidwood. It sits beside the Jembaicumbene Creek, is surrounded forest and full of native wildlife, birds and untouched bush.
There are trails to hike through the rainforest, where you have the chance to see wombats, echidnas & if you're lucky the spectacular lyrebird.

We loved our visit! This cabin was perfect for us and our weekend get away plans. Fire place with plenty of timber to curl up with a book in the evenings (Cabin Porn was hilarious). The sounds of wildlife and lyre birds in the morning sitting out side with a coffee. A cute little walking track by the creek. The host provided a wonderful folder of information and where to go and what to do and honestly the recommendations were spot on. The closest town Braidwood is a gem of a town and the Main Street didn’t disappoint. The people are lovely and the food is spectacular.We will stay again and I have already recommended the cabin to some friends. Thanks to Elka and her family for allowing us to stay.

Wonderful clean, small, warm and welcom ing. Interesting, quirky, in the bush . Everything worked very well and was basic but very comfortable.
owner communicated well and there privacy at the accomodation. The road in was dirt but very well maintained. highly recommended for an interesting, different style of small stay directly adjacent to the national park.
