It was phenomenal!!!! Booked it for a surprise 40th birthday for my daughter!! Words can not describe the joy she had!! We all enjoyed the house!! Thank you again!!!
The house was absolutely breathtaking, makes you feel like you’re living in a different time. I would definitely recommend this home for anyone I know to stay at.
I rented this 6 bedrm house for my family to be able to be all together for
My first grandchild’s wedding. It was awesome. Fun to stay in. Beautiful, tall, one of a kind clocks, piano, and toys for children.
Well supplied kitchen. Nice outdoor kitchen for grilling. And nice playground across the road.
Our stay was wonderful. The house is gorgeous. Jim and Deborah was quick with response to any questions we had. The only thing we was missing with such a great backyard was a game of cornhole. Everything else was perfect. The house has every kitchen gadget you need. I would recommend anyone to stay! Fifteen minutes away to float the buffalo. Just a perfect place for a large group. We loved it and will stay again.

Nice but very filthy
The house is very historic , nicely furnished with a wonderful yard and outdoor spaces to sit and enjoy small creatures and the flickering of lightning bugs on a peaceful summers evening. The owners were cordial and responded with timely ness to reset a circuit that was overloaded by an air fryer and microwave oven. The good unfortunately was outweighed by the filth inside the house heavy dust and dirt could easily be seen under the furniture with a mixture of dead bugs. Windows throughout home were dirty , some of the mattresses seemed a bit to worn and lacked firmness, trash and maggots were found in outdoor garbage cansAs we made our initial inspection, fecese was found in one of the upstairs commodes left from a prior guest along with hair on the top of the tank.A greasy film could be felt on the glass canisters next to the stove. I could go on All in all we felt like the cleaning staff had been very negligent in proper practices for some time.Rent at your own Risk.

Relaxing and adventuring
The house was amazing. Good cell phone service. Kids friendly. Lots of games the kids enjoyed on our rainy day. Great kitchen space. Each bedroom has a restroom and either a shower or tub. Lots of room for our group of 11 to spread out. The outdoor space is nice. Chairs, swings, rocking chairs. We saw rabbits, a couple chickens, some birds and squirrels. We did not grill due to exploring each day we were there but the outdoor kitchen space is nice. They keep extra propane. The house is across the street from a walking park and splash pads. We played and kayaked at the crooked creek boat ramp. About 10 miles away from Buffalo outfitters, who we used to kayak on the Buffalo. The owners shared some great suggestions on near by places to visit like crooked creek and gray spring. They also have a couple kayaks. Sonic is in view. We let our older teens walk to get ice cream. We loved our experience at the house and would love to visit again.
We loved our stay in this house in the small town of Yellville. It is a venue as well as a vacation rental and has had several weddings on the property. The house and furnishings were beautiful, and we were very comfortable there. We all enjoyed relaxing or reading on the swings and rockers on the porches and in the back yard hammock. The kitchen and butler's pantry were stocked with everything we needed to enjoy meals on the property. Plenty of towels and cloths were available for our use.
Jim and Deborah are fabulous hosts. Jim called me the evening that I reserved their property, which was the end of December and before VRBO prices increased for the eclipse. There had been some flooding in the house from a plumbing incident. Knowing that accommodations would be scarce in April, Jim and Deborah worked incredibly hard to get the damages repaired and have the house ready for us rather than cancel our reservation. When we first arrived at the house,Jim and Deborah waited for us to make sure that all our questions were answered before they left. During our stay, any texts and calls were answered right away. These hosts made sure that we had everything we needed, that we had games to play, interesting places to go and see, and books to read, and comfortable spots to enjoy inside and out.
We will most definitely return to Deborah's and Jim's Venue at Red Raven!
