With the stunning Schouten Beach and Gordon Street boat ramp just across the road, Ensorcelled is in an enviable location in the seaside township of Swansea on Tasmania's scenic East Coast. It has been purposely designed to encompass the panoramic pleasures of Great Oyster Bay and the iconic Freycinet Peninsula.

This modern home provides comfortable living on three different levels. Featuring polished floorboards, three large decks for outside entertainment, and four comfortable bedrooms, two with ensuites, this stunning house offers all the comforts for families and friends travelling together.

The fantastic ocean and mountain views are the charm of this property. Its prime waterfront position lets you enjoy and immerse in the stunning scenery from the comfort of the house.

A contemporary wood fire in the living room is available for guests from May to September, and a reverse heat pump keeps you warm all year round.

There are several wineries and great restaurants just down the road. There are also many other local attractions for those wishing to explore the surroundings.

The view of the beach was excellent and allowed for lovely walks in the morning and night. I had an issue with one of the beds and the staff member I contact was very efficient and provided an outcome within a couple of hours.

Beautiful views & location

Walking distance to the main street/shops, and yes, the views are exactly as spectacular as the photos here show. The balcony was the best place to have our morning coffee and evening wine. Would definitely stay here again!

Very clean and gorgeous view. I have stayed in quite a few VRBO's. Many hosts take extra effort to make sure you feel welcome and comfortable. This one felt more like ensuring they got their money. One towel per person. Need another? 5 each. Want to go to the beach? 5 per beach towel. Signs that if you use this bed, you will be charged extra. Six guests? Exactly 6 free espresso capsules. The whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth. We were paying a luxury price and shouldn't have to feel nickel-and-dimed every time we turned around. The bed in one of the bedrooms needs to be replaced. Each bed had one heavy comforter -- no option for a lighter blanket. For the price, my main complaint is the beds and linens. For this price, you want a comfortable bed and linens to match the season or changes in season.

As outlined in the property description, the home is self-catered, and we provide a small complimentary starter pack to assist on arrival. Additional items, such as extra towels or supplies, are available at a small fee or you are free to bring your own. In regard to bedding, bookings are prepared based on the number of guests confirmed, and we simply ask that the number of beds used does not exceed the number of guests booked. A bedding allocation confirmation was sent prior to your stay; however, as we did not receive a response, the standard allocation of beds was prepared in line with our usual procedure. We understand that comfort preferences, particularly in relation to beds and linens, can vary from guest to guest. Your feedback has been noted and will be taken into consideration. Overall, we’re pleased to hear you enjoyed the cleanliness of the property and the gorgeous view. We appreciate all feedback, and we hope you enjoyed the rest of your travels in Tasmania. Stunning views

We loved the views from this property - Freycinet was different every day. Plenty of room to spread out. Not sure if it's a property or town issue, but the water pressure was extremely low.

Another great stay

We returned for our second stay at this fantastic property. It is very much as advertised in the pictures and is a delightful and very comfortable place to escape to. Absolutely love waking up to the sounds of the ocean, and then walking along the beach into town. It is a lovely coastal walk, that makes you feel you have earned something delicious from the bakery in town. The beds are wonderful, the kitchen has everything you need, the internet and tv work great. The only slight negative is the water pressure in summer, but still who needs showers when you can swim in the ocean. Highly recommend this property.

Modern Home with stunning views

Ensorcelled is a spacious 2 storey home in a quiet location directly across the road from the water with stunning views from the main living area. We made use of all 4 bedrooms, and there were 2 bedrooms that had their own ensuite, and another large bathroom. There are 2 bedrooms at the rear with their own living space also. Kitchen had plenty of bench space, and a large dining table for eating with a large family/group. There was table tennis downstairs in the room next to the 4th bedroom..much fun playing in this space. There were lots of games and books to keep all happy. The view of the Hazards at Coles Bay from the main living & balcony are just stunning..coastline of Great Oyster Bay is truly relaxing. Highly recommend this accommodation to large families or groups..plenty of space to move around.

Amazing view, great location, fabulous home

We had a lovely long weekend at Ensorcelled. The house is as described in the photos. It is about a 3 minute drive to Swansea main street IGA, but a fantastic 30 minute walk via the beach and cliffs past the golf course. Do the walk you will love it. The house is very comfortable, nice big airey lounge room with plenty of seats, as well as a number tv room, big modern kitchen with everything you need, 4 bedrooms with large beds, 3 great bathrooms. Fantastic balcony looking over the ocean, about 100m from the waterfront with only grassland in between. The sunrises are to die for, you want to get up early to see it. Quiet neighbourhood. The house does have stairs and it also has a steep driveway but we had no problems driving up it. Wifi worked fine for us as did netflix. Highly recommend and we hope to return again for another weekend.
