The neighborhood is very nice and there are restaurants within walking distance. It's a 3 bedroom 1 bath with a big backyard. It was clean and there was even a little booklet telling people information about the area which we really appreciated.

Hi Christine~ Thank you so much for staying at our home and giving us such positive feedback! It is such a pleasure to hear that you enjoyed your stay and liked our walkable neighborhood and our booklet providing info to make your stay easier! Please stay with us again if your travels bring you to San Diego!
Very clean household with excellent location within the city. Easy to get to various points of the city being near the highway, while also being separated enough for peaceful sleep. Layout is quirky because to get to one of the bedrooms, you have to go through another bedroom. Pictures make the area look a bit bigger than it is, but not too small. Not a huge deal because we made due, but overall the house satisfied all the needs for our trip.

Thank you Tyler for your review of our home and neighborhood. We appreciate your feedback about your recent stay and are happy to hear that it was satisfactory! You’re always welcome back again!
Had a great stay. Place is simple yet clean and comfortable. Cute, quiet neighborhood with cafe, restaurants and shopping right around the corner. Host responded immediately when we had any questions!
Check in and out was easy. House was fine. Living room needs better couches. Not a very comfortable chill out area after a long day. Communication w host was easy and responsive. Good central location.
The house was in a safe area of town and very clean within walking of bars and restaurants. Check in was a breeze and the inside and outside of the home was all very clean. We would stay again for sure.
Super cute house with nice large yard for the dogs. Walking distance to a great supermarket and casual take out. Quick drive to Mission Bay. Really enjoyed our stay.

Always great to visit San Diego
Older property, reasonable value. Amenities basic. Decor mixed. Suited our needs for this trip.
The house is small & quaint. If you need something close to the beach and near Point Loma, then this is your place. Just be prepared for the planes flying overhead from San Diego Airport.
This was such a great location, we used a nearby dog park, ate at the restaurants that were walking distance and also everything was just about 15-20 mins driving. Highly recommend. My only wish is that they had a doggie door. We left our pup alone for a little one day and wished he could’ve gone in and out
The place was tidy. Check in/out process was easy. Great location. Just be aware that to get to room 3 you have to walk through room 2. Only 1 bathroom so no privacy in room 2. Also, living room furniture is eclectic and uncomfortable.
We had our 2 grandkids, 2 dogs, my Mother & brother. It was the perfect size so we all had our own sleeping spaces & the main space was perfect for gathering to eat & spend time together. Big yard for dogs to play in. Close proximity to beaches, eateries, mission beach, ocean beach with dog parks & beaches. Nice to open windows & let the breeze in. We highly recommend this place. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Amazing space and essentials
The backyard is huge and the house was spacious. We forgot about shampoo and saw they had some in the towel closet, which the provided a variety of different towels. Thankful for that. The kitchen was stocked as well with enough cups and plates to choose one you prefer from plastic to ceramic. The beds had two layers of blankets which I was happy for because I get so cold everytime I visit California. It was an easy check in process and super welcoming.

Great Place to Stay for My Son's Graduation from Bootcamp at MCRD!
We have been looking at hotels for a 5 night stay but could not find anything big enough for a family of 7. After searching other alternatives like VRBO's, BTW, I never stayed at anyones home before, I came across this adorable place. For us, we needed a place that was minutes away from MCRD and the Airport. This place was also, 5 to 10 minutes away from Shopping Centers, Restaurants, Coffee shops, Mission Beach and much much more. The quick response from Host was excellent and the instructions were very clear. Our stay here felt like home. The property was clean, cozy, and stocked with basic necessities. The Bedrooms are roomy with ample closet space which is a big deal for us. We all fit comfortably and It felt like home away from home!
We went to San Diego for a quick family vacation to get away from the AZ heat.
The home is very clean, has a great location and loved the walking distance to restaurants.
In other reviews there were some complaints about the listing not indicating that there was no AC, it did not seem to be a problem. Weather was great.
The dogs loved the yard and spent most of the time out there.
Would definitely come back.
As mentioned in other post, the air traffic does become a bit loud. We live on the flight path for Luke AFB, the commercial jets are much louder.
That being said, at night this does off and we were out most of the day.

The pictures are a little misleading. The house and ground seem to be in need of some love. Things look like they are at the beginning stages of being run down. The backyard was dead grass and a ton of pine needles. The furniture wasn't very comfortable. There was barely enough room for my wife and I to sit on the couch together. The TV had what looked like a crack in the screen. They had a netflix account hooked up to the TV but we couldn't use it because someone else was using it elsewhere. The hot water kettle had mold growing in it. The blankets looked a little dingy. I think this place could really be a great place if there was just a little more attention to the detail.

Hi Jason, we're sorry to see your stay fell short of expectations. The homeowner would like to address your concerns:- The photos were taken during the winter, which is why you may have seen different blankets and a greener yard. We switch from white blankets to ivory blankets for warmer months, and the backyard reflects San Diego’s strict water restrictions.- We aim for a clean, modern style in our furnishings, though we understand this may feel less plush than what some guests are used to.- The tea kettle has been replaced to ensure cleanliness moving forward, and we’re looking into the TV issue to determine if a replacement is needed.- We provide an Amazon Fire TV Stick for guests to log into their own streaming apps like Netflix. We’re sorry for any confusion this may have caused.Thank you for your feedback, as it helps us improve the guest experience.
Overall our stay was fine but I felt a little misled by the fact that they don’t tell you there is NO AIR-CONDITIONING. Luckily the staff was very quick to respond and brought some extra fans when asked but it would have been nice too know before we booked in the middle of July. The location is super close to the airport which is nice but the planes flying over all day are LOUD! They do stop at night so it didn’t bother us too much but be careful if you have young children who need to nap in the day. The house was clean but a little dated, which is normal for the area and the are a lot of good restaurants right down the street so overall not bad but definitely won’t book again in the summer.
