AlmaViva is a brand-new beautiful oceanfront haven, located in the remote Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve far from the hustle and bustle of the regular fast-paced city life. Sian Ka'an is the largest protected area in the Mexican Caribbean and unique for its geography and wetlands. Its name means, “where the sky is born” in Maya”. It is situated south of Tulum, in the Yucatan Peninsula. The Mesoamerican Reef – second in size worldwide – is at your doorstep. Thousands of migratory birds fly overhead during the season.
The observation deck is the favorite spot in the house to witness breathtaking sunrises over the Caribbean and sunsets over the endless Reserve jungle. Sip your favorite drink in the palapa thatched roof living-dining area, with the refreshing ocean breeze keeping you comfortable & mesmerized by paradise throughout the day. Enjoy our pristine beach steps away from the palapa.

The interiors are best described as Mexican contemporary in design, as they combine minimalism with some Mexican handicrafts, achieving a cozy environment.

TERRACE

MIRADOR
The “mirador” is the vantage point of the lodge, overlooking the endless jungle and lagoon landscape to the west and the majestic turquoise sea to the east, giving you a 360 degree view.
BEACH
The most spectacular location of the house is its white sand beach combined with the beautiful tropical colored Caribbean. This is the place to sun-bathe, go for a swim in the warm waters of the ocean, go for a kayak ride or simply spend time and enjoy the sound of the waves with a book by your side. A beachside dinner is a must, during your stay.
