With delightful coastal street appeal and light and bright interior spaces, this home is perfectly in tune with its beachy location.
The front lounge room is comfortably furnished with plenty of sofa seating and a TV and is air-conditioned for your comfort. With large windows, it’s filled with natural light. Carry on through to the open plan kitchen and dining room. The kitchen is well-equipped and includes a sociable breakfast bar with stools. A dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine help with the hard work while on holiday! The dining suite seats 8 and sliding doors open to the rear deck where there is an additional outdoor dining table and chairs for 8. With a BBQ and huge garden, enjoy evening drinks and meals outside while the children play on the lawn. There is also an outdoor shower to wash the sand off after a day at the beach.
The two bedrooms with tri-bunks (single above and double bed below) are downstairs. Both are well-appointed and have built-in robes. The downstairs family bathroom has a shower and spa bathtub, and a separate vanity and toilet. The laundry has a washing machine and dryer.
Upstairs the generous master has a Queen bed, built-in robes, overhead fan and its own private balcony. The second upstairs bedroom on the other side of the house also has a Queen bed, built-in robes, overhead fan and its own private balcony. They share access to the bathroom on this level with its shower, vanity and toilet. There is a second lounge room upstairs with a large sofa, TV and overhead fan, perfect for the kids to have their own space or the parents to escape to!
WiFi is provided and plenty of parking means you’re welcome to bring a boat, caravan or trailer. The house is set up perfectly to relax in but there’s plenty to do nearby!
Culburra is a perfect coastal holiday destination with its stunning beach, local waterways to explore and cute village atmosphere. Fairlight House is in an ideal spot, just 400 metres from two beaches and with the shops, cafes and restaurants under 2 kilometres away. Max Dupain’s iconic image of the ‘Sunbaker’ was snapped while surfing with mates at Culburra..
Orient Point boat ramp and Crookhaven Heads boat ramps are both less than 5km drive away, providing access into the beautiful Curley’s Bay, Crookhaven River and out to the ocean.
Fairlight House is just over 600m from the wonderful Lake Woolumboola with its calm water and abundant bird life. The lake is popular for prawning and is listed in the Directory of Important Wetlands in Australia.
Take in the views from Penguin Head lookout and enjoy beach walks either north to Crookhaven Lighthouse or south to Bull Hole lookout. Don’t forget your camera!
Entertaining the children is easy with all the beach offers. The local surf school might appeal, or try the skate park, beach volleyball and a local playground for little ones.
In terms of eateries, Culburra Beach village is just a short distance away with a range of options including Chinese, fish and chips, Italian, Mexican and burgers. There’s a thriving cafe culture and several shops to browse. There is also a Woolworths for food shopping.
Culburra Bowling Club offers a range of activities for adults and children alike, including barefoot bowls, a play area and a good range of food and drink options. Their bus will even pick you up and drop you at your door!
There are 4 amazing and affordable golf courses within 40 minutes of Culburra offering very different layouts from links style at Worrigee to tee boxes set in cliff side caves at the Nowra golf club.
If you need more mainstream amenities, Nowra is only a 20 minute drive and on the way you can enjoy the picturesque countryside and drop in at The Mill for a browse around the market and a quick bite to eat.
Fairlight House offers a very appealing holiday home in a terrific locale. With so much on your doorstep you won’t want to go home!
