Best family getaway

The house is the perfect getaway. Indoor pool was clean and warm and the perfect landing spot for the children our age group from 4-9. They have comfortable seating by the pool for the grown ups to sit and visit and watch. Although the grownups joined in family fun. The hot tub was clean and inviting. Was fun sitting out in the cold snowy days watching the ice on the trees and we even saw a snowshoe bunny. Beds are amazing and the best kitchen for cooks. Wonderful spot we will come to again.

What a great experience!

The house itself is in very good condition. The driveway was nicely plowed for easy access. The Kitchen was very well stocked for cooking. Lots of pots and pans and utensils. The pool temperature was great and the hot tub operated well. During our stay we visited West mountain for snowboarding and tubing. Another day we visited Gore mountain. We loved the house and would visit it again.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Lake George vacation home! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The house was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully set up for families. One of the absolute highlights was the indoor pool—a total hit with both the kids and adults, and such a luxury to have during any weather!The location is perfect—peaceful, private, and just minutes away from scenic hiking trails. We spent our mornings exploring the area and our afternoons relaxing poolside or enjoying meals together in the cozy, well-equipped kitchen and dining area. The surrounding nature made it feel like a true escape, but we were still close enough to town for groceries and quick trips into Lake George village.The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made check-in a breeze. They clearly care about the guest experience and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay.This home was everything we hoped for and more—ideal for a family vacation . Amazing Time

We barely left the house! We had a few heavy rain days and we utilized every inch of it! The pool was fantastic to wear the kids out while my mom could play piano in the study and we cooked in the fully stocked kitchen. The loft was fun to just relax, read and enjoy the treetop feeling. The basement is a kid haven and we loved having the firepit just outside the downstairs game room. All bedrooms were very accommodating. The views of the property are beautiful and the hike around the home was so much fun with hidden areas of beauty. If we come back to the area we will definitely book this home again!

Pros - The property was very nice and I would stay there again. The indoor pool and hot tub were the best features for a winter stay. Cons - The pool an hot tub needed to be shocked. The pool was just getting slimy. I am a pool owner as well. This could easily have been avoided. There are mouse droppings in pans and in the tubs. The property could benefit from some pest control. I know this isn't easy as mice are everywhere, but this can be minimized. Otherwise... Great stay!

Diamond Point/Lake George Pool House

The indoor pool was a smash hit with the little ones. The pool room was well heated and stocked with many pool toys making it a pleasure for everyone. Had the pool been outdoors, it would have been too cold at times for the weather we had to use This way, the children were in the pool almost every waking minute. When they weren't in the pool, they were in the bedroom/toy room downstairs being entranced with a super abundance of toys and books. Another huge plus was the twin bunk beds which allowed each twin to choose to sleep either in the top or lower bunk without tears. The home is beautifully designed, and every amenity thoughtfully provided. The kitchen, great room with sweeping ceilings and the living/sitting room off the master bedroom all had views into the pool room. The adults loved the well-stocked kitchen and sitting in the cozy living/sitting room with a glass of wine after the little ones were tucked into bed. We spent so much time enjoying the inside of the home that we never did get to use any of the wonderful outdoor attributes such as the spa, firepit and hiking trails. Overall, we completely and unreservedly loved this home.

The stay was awesome, there was only 3 of us so we didn’t even come close to utilizing the property but it would be a perfect spot for larger groups as well as small groups like ours. We wanted to pool a little warmer so we just sent the host a message and he turned it right up. The hot tub was warm and easy to use. Great spot no matter the weather because of the indoor pool, lots of entertainment on site as well.
