Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally located, 2-storey 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom home, located in Central Christchurch. This is a great base for exploring the sites of Christchurch. You have the choice to dine out at local restaurants or cook at home in the fully equipped kitchen. This comfy central city home is complete with a Queen bed and bathroom upstairs. Enjoy a peaceful stroll along the Avon River nearby, or take a short walk to the famous Margaret Mahy playground.
The ground floor has the kitchen, living, and dining area. This flows out to the private, fully fenced courtyard. In the kitchen is a combination washer/dryer machine for guest use.
Upstairs (1st floor) has the bedroom with spacious Queen bed, plus a full sized bathroom with bidet toilet, vanity and shower.
Canterbury Linen Services who supply local 5-Star Hotels provide our sheets and towels. You can sink into the luxury of a professionally laundered bed knowing it's a 5-Star Hotel clean.
This property comes with street only parking. There is free, untimed parking outside on Madras Street. A local convenience store is located a 5 minute walk from the development for any late night needs.
Please note we can facilitate early check-ins/late check outs. there is an extra cost of $10 per hour with maximum of 2 hours. Extra cost is to cover express cleaning.

City noise - Please note this is an inner city townhouse. Its near the road and some intersections and has usual city noises such as pedestrians walking past, cars driving, and the occasional siren. The townhouse is much quieter with the windows closed. If you are a light sleeper, ear plugs are recommended, or perhaps choose a property not so close to the city. We have strict rules in place to ensure a peaceful stay for all guests and neighbours. Please refrain from making loud noise outside between the hours of 10pm and 7am. If you are unable to comply with this rule, we kindly ask that you do not book with us. Additionally parties or gatherings are not allowed, any unauthorised gatherings will result in immediate cancellation with no refund. Check out time is 10am and late checkouts must be requested 24hours in advance. Smoking in prohibited inside the property and any damages or extra cleaning caused by smoking or pets will result in a $200 fee. We expect the house to be left in a reasonable condition and any additional cleaning required will be charged at $60 per hour. Any damages, spills or stains must be reported and may result in a charge for replacement or cleaning.

The unit was spacious and well-appointed with all the amenities. However there is a very pervasive musty smell in the living room. While Paula with the communications team was quick to recognize there was an issue, the maintenance team did not show up to address it, even after 2 days. Not great response.
