This is one of our all-time favorite vacation rentals! The views & sunsets are truly special because of the sand bars just off shore The two ocean facing decks & the living area area are wonderful spots to take in the scenery. A small deck on the house's front offers a long & wide view of a large wetland. The place is very clean. The kitchen was well equipped, the furnishings are attractive & comfortable.Besides it's own beach, there are two other beaches a short walk away & both are good for a shoreline stroll. The location is convenient for dining establishments along Bayshore Rd & getting to Cape May is easy enough by car or bike.Bring your own sheets, pillowcase & towels of all manner (bath, dish, hand), etc.).
This is the 9th year we have rented this beautiful house. The house is spacious and super clean. It is also very private with your own beach. I highly recommend it
Wildlife on the Bayside was abundant. Close views of; an Osprey, Eagles on the sand-bars, cardinals, woodpeckers, cranes, a multitude of seagulls, and many horseshoe crabs. It's also great that Cape May Point and Wldwood are only 20 minutes away!Almost every night we had a gorgeous sunset.A very unique tetradecagon house with walls of glass looking out to the Bay.There was only one negative. We anticipated needing more paper products and brought extra. It seems we use more than anybody supplies.
We have been coming here for 10 years. It is our special vacation spot. It is extremely peaceful and the scenery is beautiful to look at. John has been an absolute pleasure to deal with.
Stayed 3 nights for a girl's trip. The house is spacious and clean. Close to attractions such as downtown Cape May and wineries. Our favorite part was watching the sunset over the bay each night. Would recommend!
This was our second time spending spring break in this beautiful house. It suits our family so well, with lots of space to spread out and also be together. The views and beach are breathtaking. John is a wonderful host, immediately attentive if we needed anything. Thank you so much.
Beautiful sunsets house is nice, a little ride to cape may but worth the privacy and serine setting. I would stay again. Waking up to the sound of the bay out back is awesome.
The property was everything the listing described. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this magnificent home. I needed a relaxing stay and this certainly met all of our requirements.
We enjoyed staying here. It was what we were looking for- on the quiet side of Cape May, lots of wildlife ( we spotted bald eagles, a coyote, many seabirds and tons of bunnies!) The neighborhood was peaceful, the house is nicely set up and was clean. The owner was responsive and we had a great time here.
Had a spectacular week at this amazing location. Beautiful sunsets. Great beach access. Everything as advertised. Plenty of space for the whole family.
A week with our daughter’s & preschool granddaughters, who loved exploring the extensive low tide sandbars and seeing the horseshoe crabs and laughing gulls. Lots of local restaurants and services and only a 20 minute drive to Wildwood and Cape May.
Awesome location, rare warblers in n the property & bald eagles on the beach. Never saw notice about bringing sheets & towels but luckily owner telephoned prior to our coming with details.
Our family had such a wonderful week. The house was impeccably clean with anything we needed. The location is heaven, quiet and very private feeling. Views of the bay and sunsets we even better than we hoped. Highly recommended.

Secrets by the bay
New Jersey Bayside is one of NJs best kept secrets. It has a wonderful serene and tranquil atmosphere and the most amazing sunrises and sunsets. That house was amazing and comfortable. We would recommend this house to anyone that wanted to have a relaxing time

Just what the doctor ordered.
What a relaxing stay, in a beautiful home. Thank you Kathy & John for letting us share your little piece of heaven.

Beautiful property and beautiful views of the bay-sunsets, pelicans, an eagle and other birds. Only problem I had was with my GPS which did not want to put the address in to come to and from the property, so just put in a business nearby to get back and forth from Cape May.
Thank you for such a lovely stay.
We had an amazing time, thank you John for allowing us to stay in your home. The house was exactly as described, but better. The views are amazing throughout the house and the perfect décor in each room. We brought our dog who also loved everything about this property. The stairs are carpeted which made it easy for her to get up and down since she has a bad leg.
We saw the resident eagle, many seagulls and egret. The bay at low tide is so cool, it recedes where you are able to walk out about 400 feet. Just like the song says, sitting on the dock of the Bay, watching the tide roll away.
