Summer Relaxation

This quaint, charming home has been decorated nicely and is very comfortable. It was very clean and well appointed. The neighborhood is quiet and is a short drive from shops and restaurants. We had a very enjoyable stay. Great communication from the owner who even phoned me to check on us due to tornado warnings. Very caring!!

We stayed for 3 nights, to visit our son, The cottage was very clean and nicely decorated. and had everything we needed. loved the hand soaps. The area is a nice quiet area. If we come back to Akron, we will definitely stay again. thank you for a nice stay.

Great Little Cottage!

My family and i stayed here for 2 nights on the way to a family funeral. Resterants are fairly close. Small town but close to Akron. Lakes are vety close. We fond a good fishing spot less than 5 minutes away. Host was eager to help anyway she could. Russ

Wonderful!!

This place is great!! So cute! So comfy! Super clean! We wanted to pick up the house and move it to our usual vacation lake area hahaha :) very close to anything you could need! We would definitely stay again!!! We would give 6 stars if we could. Plenty of room for a family of 4!

Great place to enjoy the Portage Lakes area!

This property is in a super convenient location just a few steps from the lake. The cute and cozy home is so comfortable and the furnishings were lovely to enjoy some down time. The owner was incredibly responsive, checking in a couple times via text to ensure all was going well. The home is very well stocked! We had everything we needed for a few days’ visit - we were there during a very hot and humid weekend and the two a/c units worked beautifully to keep the place cool. Quiet area, close to lakes, Akron and Cleveland.

Great cottage

This cottage is conveniently located for visiting Akron, Cuyahoga Valley, and even Canton. We like birding and hiking, and there are many beautiful parks in this area. The cottage is comfortable and lovingly decorated. Great communication with the property manager and owner! My only complaint is not with the cottage itself, but with its description of being “steps from the lake.” While this is technically true, the steps take you to a guardrail behind which are private properties going down to the lake.
