Awesome house
Took some customers on a fishing trip and everyone loved the house- will book again very soon
Beautiful home. Relaxing , comfortable and so peaceful. The perfect weekend getaway for a sisters weekend. The home was beautiful , clean and so comfortable. It was perfect !!!
The property was as described, but the pictures didn't do it justice. The house was very nice and the outdoor seating areas were great. We spent most of our time on the screened in porch, the weather was fairly warm in the large ceiling fan on the porch did a great job keeping us comfortable. Mountain Home was just a short drive and there were plenty of restaurants to choose from. We really enjoyed our stay, it was very relaxing and that is just what we needed.

Very nice Stay
House was very clean and nicely decorated. Very nice layout for a getaway. The screened in porch and deck was our favorite part of this place! Lots of birds to watch and a very nice view of the river. The cabin was very clean and it was everything we hoped for. Cannot say how nice the screen porch was for sitting out in the evenings and not being pestered by the bugs!

White River Cabin
The house and the location were great/ We had perfect weather and were able to sit out on the screened porch every day and watch the river. only negative was no river access from the property. From pictures, etc. we assumed we would be able to fish from the property but that was not the case. That was disappointing. Otherwise, it was a beautiful location and the house was very conformable.

Peaceful
Exactly what we needed. A peaceful couple of days watching the water go by. The check in process was simple and the hosts thought of everything we’d need to make our stay comfortable. The house was very clean and we felt right at home with the amenities of town not far away.
Our favorite part of the home was sitting next to the fire at night where the stars shined bright and the running water filled the air which we found to be a tranquil treat for our senses.
Not only would we recommend this rental, we’ll also be back as we felt the value for what we paid was well worth it.
Thank you for hosting us.

Loved It!
We loved our stay on the White River. This home is just beautiful! It had everything we needed. Only minor complaints: one of the twin beds was rock hard and even my 5 year old complained of how uncomfortable the bed was, but easy fix, we moved him to the other. The house is very close to train tracks, and they weren't shy about blowing the whistle, so it did wake us up once each night. The water pressure was pretty poor. Despite these few minor issues, we were super satisfied with the rental and would still definitely rent it again in the future. The screened in porch and outdoor living space were beautiful!
The home was comfy and was quiet most of the day. Unfortunately, there was noise that was out of the host’s control. The home is located next to a train track and a train passed by, on 3 diff days, at 2:30am with horns blaring. There was also boat noise. One boat passed by at 4:30am and then tons of other boats at 6am on most days. The amount of boat activity could’ve been due to it being Father’s Day weekend. We didn’t get too much sleep but the home was nice and the host was very responsive.

Beautiful River House!
We had such an amazing stay at this beautiful river house! Amber and Kirk have thought of everything. Beautiful view of the river, relaxing back deck, a separate enclosed porch, and a fire pit with chairs all with beautiful views of the white river from inside or out! You can even watch the river roll by in the master bedroom with it's King size comfy bed and ensuite master bath with jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The kids were super comfy in their own room with their own TV and a separate bath as well. Amber has decorated the house with so many interesting items, it was fun just to browse around the house looking at everything! Well stocked kitchen, large table that seats 6 and an island with chairs. A large front yard for playing with the kids, we also enjoyed walking along the road every morning with a beautiful view of the river. Would definitely recommend!

Bad smell
The pantry in the kitchen smells like something died in it. It was terrible did not even want to open the door sprayed air freshener and Lysol but wouldn’t even touch it. The jets in the master bathroom tub did not work and couldn’t get the tv on the screened in porch to connect so we could sit outside and watch television.

Response from VrboOwner on 9 August 2023
Hi Keith, thank you for sharing your valuable feedback about your recent stay. We greatly appreciate your input. Your comments have been forwarded to the homeowner to ensure we address your concerns effectively:
-"In response to the issue you mentioned regarding the unpleasant smell in the pantry, we've already taken proactive measures. We had a local contractor investigate the crawl space more thoroughly to identify the root cause and rectify it accordingly. Your comfort is our utmost priority, and we're committed to creating a delightful experience for all our guests.
-Regarding the jets in the tub, we'd like to clarify that the electrical aspect of the jets has been nonfunctional for a while now. This is precisely why we placed a plate over the timer. It's important to note that the tub is not advertised as having jets for this reason. We appreciate your understanding and your patience in this regard.
-With regard to the TV on the back patio, we apologize for any inconvenience you might have faced. We did provide detailed instructions on how to operate it, as it relies on Direct TV's hopper technology. It's possible that there was a connection drop that needed resetting.
-Although we didn't receive any concerns from you during your stay, please know that we are always here to promptly address any guest concerns and would have been more than happy to assist in resolving the issue.
Guest satisfaction holds utmost importance for us, and we're dedicated to ensuring a seamless experience for all."
