Girls Weekend

Beautiful home. Pool room was way too hot, along with the rooms above. Tried to say we smoked indoors and left garbage which we have photos that we did not. Be careful.

We pride ourselves on being able to accommodate a variety of group hoping to have a fun and family-centred trip, and have had nearly a year of hosting with a perfect rating and incredible and respectful guests. Please note that in this case, we communicated directly with Emily and her party to clarify evidence of ash found in our pool area, confetti that was scattered throughout the pool and house, and garbage left in the house that was supposed to be gathered or organized as per house rules. This incurred much higher cleaning costs than our average guests. Emily and her group unfortunately did not bother to communicate back to us regarding these queries, or regarding house heating, which guests have control over, or pool heating, which we can adjust remotely.

Amazing Place

Sophia is very accommodating with our big group and good in communicating with us especially with our concerns prior to booking the place since we have kids. Her place is very big and spotless clean. It is ideal for big groups. The bedrooms upstairs has en-suite bathrooms. The pool area includes 2 washrooms and it’s very clean as well. Sophia left us some goodies such as chips, candies and chocolates which is very nice gesture. There are a few grocery stores nearby. Unfortunately, it was raining on Sunday so we couldn’t explore the town. But there is a lake and a beach which is approximately 20-30 minutes away. It is also a must try to go to Kawartha Dairy Ice Cream Parlour. Our overall experience is amazing! Sophia’s place is highly recommended! Would definitely come back again!
