Sweeping views set the scene for a relaxing adventure at Country Memories guesthouse. Spacious and light filled, the living room offers a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the country decor. A corner of the living room offers a kitchenette with a coffee maker, microwave, toaster, and refrigerator. The satellite television is found in the living room for your enjoyment. Please note, the wood-burning stove is for decoration only, it is not available for cooking. Full of fresh country inspiration, the loft bedroom has a queen sized bed topped with a lovely quilt. The upstairs deck directly off the bedroom is the perfect place for watching sunsets, wildlife and stars.

LOCATION - 13 miles southwest of Fredericksburg on 240 acres
HOSTS - Your host lives on the property in a separate home, but you have the guesthouse all to yourselves.
SLEEPS - 2 persons in Queen loft bedroom
BATH - 1 bathroom with a walk in shower
KITCHEN - Kitchenette with microwave, toaster oven, refrigerator & traditional coffeemaker
BREAKFAST - No Breakfast; coffee and teas are left
AMENITIES - TV in living room w/ dish network, covered porch with seating to enjoy hill country views, electric grill, wood burning firepit (wood provided) (firepit available only if there is not a county wide burn ban in place), upstairs deck off the loft bedroom with seating, acreage with plenty of wildlife and farm life to watch

This is a beautiful property. Great host, Jackie and Toni we a very sweet couple. Loved the history of their property. Wildlife was amazing. Deer and turkey's. Perfect place to stay. We will go back. 5 stars! Very clean, bed was amazing

Cute, comfortable and cozy!

We loved our stay at Country Memories cabin! The decor is beautiful, as well as the view. The homeowners are on site but the cabin is private and very very clean. We are very pleased and will stay here again!

Great country getaway

We loved the quiet country setting. It was just perfect for what we were looking for. We specifically didn't want to be in town but out away from the busyness. The location was beautiful and the homeowners were delightful and did not want to interrupt our stay but were helpful when we had a few questions.

Fantastic country getway

The cottage is comfortable and thoughtfully designed and was an idyllic calm retreat spot for a long weekend getaway. The hosts were very friendly and considerate and we really enjoyed the peaceful and quiet location. We will definitely return.

Great time and a great location

We loved our long weekend staying here. It was not too far from town, and is such a safe, quiet and clean get away. The hosts are so friendly and left us alone. We also loved having our morning coffee or evening wine and watching the deer each day from the porch and upper deck. Very enjoyable, and we hope to return soon!

Quiet Ranch Getaway in Texas Wine Country

This guest house was wonderful. It is in the back of a wonderful older couple who welcomed us. We didn't see them again and we came and went depending on what we were doing. The back porch on the guest house is SO peaceful. Watching the deer at the feeder and enjoying the sunsets were great memories. The family farm has a great historic connection to the area as well. I'd highly recommend it and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Lovely place, not to far from town.Comfy and charming.Only thing i would change is put some sort of led lighting on the stairs runners so you can see when the step ends to the next step better and to have at night when getting up to go to bathroom thst is downstsirs.Communicstion with managing hist company was not quick in rrplying and seemed annoyed with answering questions. Plus charging another 30 as a booking fee that didnt show up till after you book.Not acceptable. Will mot use vrbo again. But the house, land, deer, turkeys , cows perfect .

I do want to clarify that we don’t respond to non-emergency messages in the middle of the night, which is why there was a delay in communication. Everything about this property exceeded our expectations. The owners live on property and just wonderful. If you need a quiet respite from a hectic life this is the place for you! We saw deer, cattle, geese, turkey and birds of every kind from the front porch. It is a short drive to Fredericksburg and Kerrville. Simply fabulous!
