Beautiful property with excellent privacy (aside from a very polite and mild tempered cat who would hang out while we had our morning coffee in the garden) absolutely recommend this stay

Thanks for the kind words John. It was a pleasure to meet you and Becca. I hope to see you here again sometime. Safe travels you two.
The unit is beautifully decorated, complete with a fire pit on the front patio. It was an immaculate condition. Very convenient location to visit and bike at various locations, such as Qualicum Beach and Parksville. Any return trip to Vancouver Island will definitely include a stay here. The host, Chris, was very accommodating.
Exceedingly comfortable accommodation which exceeded our expectations. Very well appointed and spacious interior, a very good bed, and an excellent kitchen with all amenities. Peaceful, quiet location, surrounded by tall trees, a colorful garden, birds, and bunny rabbits. Communication with Chris, the host, was seamless. Romeo, the very well taken care of neighborhood cat, added additional comfort and hospitality with his occasional visits. Five stars...thanks for a great stay!
Helpful walkthrough when we arrived. Home is beautiful and very high quality in overall design and furnishings. Probably one of the cleanest and most well kept VRBOs we have stayed in. Quiet location but 10 mins from everything Parksville has to offer. We were trailering a boat with and this offered sufficient parking which can be hard to find.
Chris was excellent to deal with. Property is clean and well maintained. It is in a rural location, but is close to everything including shopping and tourist attractions. Outside tub is good for relaxing under the stars with a nice glass of wine.

Bob, thanks for the nice review and thank you for leaving my home so clean and tidy.
We had a wonderful stay! My wife and I arrived and Chris greeted us in the home and gave us a tour of the place. We absolutely love the decor and how peaceful the place is. We sat outside each morning and listened to the ravens and even had a deer stop by for a brief moment. It has all the stuff you need and more in the kitchen. The outdoor tub and firepit are great for more relaxing time outside. Good for couples and small families.

Hi Chris. Thank you for the wonderful review. I’m glad you appreciate my work and my private little hideaway. Also thank you for leaving everything so tidy. Cheers!
We stayed here in July for 5 nights. One of the highlights of our trip for sure and there were many highlights.
The place is very spacious and big for a couple but still so for a family of four. The pictures are accurate but the nice surprise is how big the property is on the outside and how much space you have. It is like having your own acreage.
The outdoor shower and tub is a great option on hot days. Now I'm thinking I need one for my own house!
The owner is very attentive to all needs - great service!
Finally the place is so well stocked it pretty much puts all other places to shame.
Great off the beaten track hideaway surrounded by woods with an outdoor tub/shower. Clean, well appointed and comes with a very friendly outdoor cat. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed exploring the mnt bike trails of Cumberland, ice cream in Courtenay, walks on the beach and many dinners in Parksville. Far away and yet close to everything. Escape!
