This is a great place! Private place with a remote gated fence, about a 10 minute easy drive to Samara. Nice pool, open stocked kitchen, two large bedrooms, updated main bath - everything was perfect for our family of four.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Location is perfect for the beaches and town of Samara, which we fell in love with. This place quickly felt like home and after a busy day exploring in town, it was the perfect place to come back to relax and unwind by your own private pool. The host was friendly and respectful of privacy so you really do have your own private place in paradise. Highly recommend!!

Nice little house tucked away on the outskirts of Samara among locals yet only a few minutes to the beach and or town. Pool and outdoor area are beautiful and spacious. Although minimally furnished, the inside was clean and a small issue we experienced with an appliance, the host did all they could to get resolved as quick as possible. We didn’t seem to notice the traffic sounds others mentioned, loved having our morning coffee on the porch listening to the wild life sounds and the near by dogs who visited made the stay that much better. Oh Luna. Overall a great value.

Perfect Jungle Hideaway

We really enjoyed our stay! The location is close enough to town, a vehicle is still recommended though. The house was very clean and spacious, and having the covered outdoor patio was perfect for the rainy evenings. The pool is a perfect touch to this wonderful getaway!

We recently stayed at Casa Suarez, and overall had a pleasant experience. The property was clean and generally as described in the listing. We felt very safe during our stay, and the host was excellent with communication — responsive and helpful.The home is located about a 10-minute drive from Sámara, so it’s convenient if you have a vehicle. A rental car is definitely needed to get to the beach, restaurants, and shops. There is a mini mart within walking distance that was very well stocked.The outdoor space and pool were highlights of our stay — we really enjoyed relaxing there. One thing future guests should be aware of is that there is noticeable noise from nearby traffic, barking dogs, and chickens, particularly at certain times of day.The reliability of the utilities during our stay, caused some inconvenience, but this is to be expected in Costa Rica, and the host did make efforts to address the issue.Overall, this is a good option for travelers who plan to have a car and don’t mind some typical rural noise while staying near Sámara.

Overall we had a good stay. The house is about 10 minutes from downtown, which made getting around easy, and the gated entrance added a sense of security. The pool was great to cool off in after being out during the day, and we appreciated having access to a washer and dryer.A few things future guests may want to know. The home could benefit from some updates, and it would be helpful if the host provided a binder with house information. For example, guidance about not flushing toilet paper and instructions for the air conditioning would make things clearer.The house does not come stocked with extra supplies, so plan to purchasing basics things like hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry detergent, and trash bags. Also note the washer and dryer cannot run at the same time or the power may trip.You will definitely hear the local wildlife in the mornings, roosters, monkeys, cicadas, and the occasional dog barking, which is part of the local environment.Two of the three beds are very firm, so keep that in mind if you prefer a softer mattress.We chose this property mainly because it was close to family, which worked well for our trip.
