The place was disgusting. Not clean at all!!! We found a roach (bug) in the cabinet and a roach (weed) out on the patio where toddlers played. My sister was locked in a bathroom for an hour because there was no door knob on the inside of her bathroom. She didn't know until she had already closed the door. She had to wait for her 5 year old (who was out in the main house by himself) to hear her yelling to let her out. Imagine if it had been him in there or if, while she was locked in there, he got in the pool. Her bed was broken. Games in the game room did not work. Carpet was stained everywhere and smelled. My nieces closet was full of mold. She has asthma and didn't know until she couldn't breathe.We couldn't park all the way in the driveway because trash from the previous tenants was placed in front of the garage doors. One of the ice makers did not work. My other niece said their sheets were stained with brown stain. We paid the 35.00 a day for the hot tub to be hot. IT. NEVER. GOT. HOT. Lukewarm, at best and the owner made, obvious rehearsed excuses on why that was the case. She even said that she had someone come out and check it, AFTER I requested and he found it was . My sister watched him. He never even looked at the controls. He "cleaned" the pool, instead. My mom passed and this was our first family trip since her passing. All we wanted was a relaxing, fun trip and it was everything, but. Instead, it was frustrating, discouraging, and disheartening.
