Grey Whale Guest House is a private hilltop woodland retreat, overlooking Kingsburg. Come enjoy the wildlife and spectacular south facing ocean beach views or explore the South Shore of Nova Scotia. This Atlantic Ocean oasis is a walk to Kingsburg and Hirtle Beaches and just a short drive to Historic Lunenburg. Hike Hell's Point and Gaff Point. If you are looking for the perfect place to get away from it all, Grey Whale is it!

Sleeps 4 comfortably on 2 queen beds with luxurious mattresses - one bedroom on the main floor and a sleeping loft. The main floor boasts a convenient kitchenette, with a large toaster oven, microwave, hot plate, coffee brewer, refrigerator with small freezer, blender and all the kitchen utensils or dishes you may need. The deck offers a BBQ and comfortable seating for four to enjoy the view. The Guest House has a full bathroom, plus you can enjoy the outdoor shower when you get back from the beach.

This charming cedar clad guest house is the perfect place to relax and take in the ocean breezes. You can cozy up on the large sofa to read a book, play a board game or watch a movie - internet and television are available. If it's a chilly evening on the off-season, warm up by the woodstove.

It's a short drive to the beautiful town of Lunenburg to enjoy the wide range of restaurants or shop the quaint storefronts. There is a small general store/bistro about five km from the cottage, and full amenities are available in the towns of Lunenburg and Bridgewater.

We have a flexible cancellation policy - a 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 14 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 7 to 14 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 7 days prior to check-in.

A wonderful rest and recharge

From the moment we walked in, we realized it was just perfect. Beautifully clean and tastefully decorated while still managing to feel cozy and inviting. Lots of wonderful walks on Kingsburg and Hirtle Beaches and on nearby hiking trails. Rose Bay General Store and Bistro was a real bonus as we were able to pick up groceries and also enjoy a couple of meals out. Some lovely little touches left by David and Lisa that made it extra special.

Peaceful and serene

Beautiful guesthouse surrounded by bunnies, deer and sounds of the waves crashing. Be careful driving into the area to ensure safety of wildlife. The bed and sofa were comfortable and the decor is perfect. The nearby beaches and trails are breathtaking. The view of stars at night from the back deck are mesmerizing. Hopefully it's an annual stay!

Beautiful and Relaxing!!

We had the most wonderful weekend - the cottage is beautiful with gorgeous ocean views. The beds were so comfortable, the decor beautiful and relaxing, and everything was spotlessly clean. It is furnished with everything you could need. Its a few minutes drive to a beautiful sandy beach. We would love to visit again if we have the chance!
