This beautifully appointed 3 bedroom condo offers privacy and is easy walking distance to town. A spacious master suite on the third floor has a king size bed and a full bath. The main living area, on the middle entry level, has a half bath, kitchen with pass through to dining table, and a living room with sliders to a private deck for dining. The Queen futon bed/sofa is in the living room. A spacious patio with BBQ grill and table for four is just outside the front door. Two bedrooms and a bathroom are on the lower level. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the second has twin beds. The large walk-in shower has custom tile work. There is wireless internet and a complimentary golf cart with this property. A total of 1235 sq. ft. ** Sol Vista Pool Hours are 3:00pm - 7:00pm** 63SV | | Some restrictions may apply. Occupants subject to Sol Vista Homeowners Association Rules & Regulations. | | This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum mid-June through Labor Day). Rates subject to change and may vary by week. Pleasant unit a short drive from town. Very clean and comfortable, everything you need is there. Good to have the golf cart! Sad the pool was not open, it was a hot weekend.

We had a fantastic time here! We were here for my daughter’s wedding! The condo was nice -a great location! It was very hot weekend- it would have been perfect to have some AC- which wasn’t included. But we made do with some fans. All in all it was really amazing. We were not at the condo very much- just to sleep.

We did not spend much time in the house, but it was overall a comfortable and convenient rental. It is dated, and the golf cart sounded like it was dying but it did not make the visit any less Pleasant. The rental is on a hill, having the golf cart was helpful as we were traveling with our “mature” mother.

Clean huge and reliable stay

We had a wonderful time staying at the house. It was walkable distance from the store and beach. We didn’t have to use the cart at all. Very responsive property management. Thank you for hosting us!

Overall the condo was functional for our needs, good space and beds were comfortable. Having the golf cart was great! However for the price we expected better quality of towels and overall cleanliness. The kitchen needs some work and major cleaning. 1960/1970s cheap utensils need updating, the antique hand mixer smoked, glassware and pans were dusty, cabinets are sticky. Don’t look on top of the fridge! Needless to say everything we intended to use was washed the first night. Cobwebs and dusty light fixtures in the bathrooms. The Carpet is the first thing you see and it is black and needs replaced. Overall the initial vibe was not positive.

Great stay!

Location was great, easy to get everywhere from here. We had a small issue with the golf cart and management took care of it right away. Hot tub was not hot, and furniture was very dated, but overall it was a great stay

Lovely relaxing stay

Great place with lots of room. It was very convenient to have the golf cart. Pool and jacuzzi was a bonus. Our group is technically challenged and couldn’t navigate the TV but the management came very quickly to help. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great Stay

This condo is great. It comes with a golf cart, which is essential due to the condo’s proximity to the beach. It has a ton of space. It does need some upgrades and isn’t squeaky clean but after staying at a few other places in Avalon this is line with other properties. We’ll definitely book again.

The front door lock was unreliable and only worked if the key was inserted partway and adjusted carefully, often requiring me to stand outside messing with it before able to get inside. I realize the golf cart is a bonus but was the sole reason I booked this place. Parking was a recurring problem. On one occasion, another golf cart was parked in the designated spot, leaving me no choice but to park down elsewhere since there was no where to park in the small lot. When I contacted staff for help, I was told there was nothing they could do and that there is no towing on the island, so I had to resolve the situation myself. I had to go ask around the complex until I found the owners cart to move so I could go get mines and park it. On another occasion, a truck was parked directly behind my cart while a float was being built, and materials such as flowers, buckets, and rags were placed on top of my golf cart, again preventing me from leaving on time. Cleanliness was also below expectations. There were long black hairs left in the dryer, the lint trap had not been cleaned Overall, between the unreliable lock, ongoing parking issues, lack of staff support, and cleanliness concerns, this property did not meet expectations.

needs a deep clean

having our own golf cart was a huge plus. the location is was nice for us, as it was further out of the town center and relatively quiet. The carpets and fabric furniture were heavily stained and musty. Also we couldn't figure out the tv. Other than that, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay

Property Layout worked Great

I know there are a lot of people talking about how it was not clean but it was not the case for me. So I should really thank those people who brought it to the management's attention. Great stay! The layout was perfect for my friends and family - even my 93 year old grandma. Enough bathrooms (2.5) to not feel like we were fighting for one. The location in a much shorter walk than expected but it's not for those who are uncomfortable to do a walk with a slight incline there. So the golf cart came in handy when some of us walk and cart others around. The only issue is the golf cart was quite gimmicky and stopped working our last day (not sure if it was the cold or just it being old).

Great place for a group

We loved the location, the spaciousness and access to the golf cart! Communication with management was EXCEPTIONAL. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook several full meals. We didn't use the pool area but it was nice to know it was there. We loved that there were games and puzzles and 2 outdoor areas. We would definitely stay again but there are definitely some things that could use improvement. The condo itself is nice but dated. The mattresses in the lower bedrooms are OLD and very uncomfortable. The dining table only has 5 chairs...which is a shame considering we had a party of 6. We ended up using an ottoman for the 6th seat. The stovetop had a couple burners that did not work. There were cobwebs in the upstairs bathroom and on the lamp in the living room. Overall, it is a great place to stay but for the price, I just think there should be some updates for comfort, etc.

If you are looking for a property meeting the bare minimum requirements to rent, you've found it. Some folks have complained about it being filthy. That wasn't our experience. But, the only carpeting in this unit (everything else is tile) is on the staircases. And they look awful. Especially when they are what greets you upon opening the front door. The carpet needs to be deeply cleaned or replaced. The dishwasher has a poor rinse cycle and broken dry cycle, so we found ourselves hand-washing all dishes that came from the cabinets. Because of the broken dry cycle, the dishwasher and kitchen stink of stale water. The kitchen lacked many basic elements, including steak knives, an adequate knife set, a baking sheet, hot pads for removing hot things from the oven, and other things. We grilled steaks and had to pre-cut them with the one dull knife in the drawer prior to serving. The furniture in the living room is extremely uncomfortable...an old futon and chair with thinning pads. The beds are old and very uncomfortable, especially the two twin beds. Hard as rocks. We found out after 5:00pm that the place was stocked with two wash clothes for five of us. Staff replaced them at noon the next day. The unit is also right on Wrigley Rd. Golf cart and car noise were at all hours. Postives? While old, the golf cart was nice to have. We would not choose to stay here again though in its current state, especially for the high price. Limited to only 1500 characters here

Our stay was nice and the place was homely. The staff was nice and helpful, Little disappointed that the golf cart was not able for task of checking out the higher parts of Catalina and would cut out on hills that the other rental carts were able to do.

AC Disabled / Dirty Unit

Stayed here over labor day weekend (100 degrees) and surprised to find the owner disabled the AC for bookings. I'm assuming this is to save $$$ even though the unit was thousands for the weekend. This is definitely something the management company should inform people of. Aside from being misled, the fans they indicated were in the closet were caked with dirt and dust. Other parts of the unit were neglected as well. They were kind enough to refund a portion for the unit not being clean and also the fact we couldn't get comfortable during our stay. Would have never booked if I had known. The owner was also kind enough to not have laundry detergent in the laundry room. Another cost saving measure I'm sure.......cheap!
