The Park View House is a duplex: an upstairs(VRBO 98509) and a downstairs(VRBO 1342233). Please check both calendars for availability. Upstairs can more comfortably accommodate up to six people because of the loft; downstairs can more comfortably accommodate 4 people. The whole house can be rented to accommodate a larger group. Each unit is 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus loft in upper. All bedrooms and bathrooms are separated by the living area, which offers exceptional privacy for guests. A King bedroom and bathroom suite, built-in Captain's double bed, and twins in the loft are upstairs. Downstairs offers a Queen brass bedroom and bathroom suite, twins bedroom and bathroom suite. The rates quoted are for each unit. Refunds are done if I am able to re-rent. Please call or email if you have questions. Rooms with a view is what The Park View House offers. It is located on Main Street just steps away from the main intersection in town of State and Main. It has three sliding door walls in each unit overlooking Zorn Park, which goes from Main Street to the bay, where there is a public bathing beach. The view from the house and it's expansive deck and upper balconies is of the historic landmark church, Holy Childhood, the park and the bay with public beach. This is a fabulous location! The New York Restaurant and The Pier are just around the corner. The house sits in the center of town, yet has an incredible view and privacy. Just ten minute drive to Boyne Highlands and Petoskey. A half hour drive to Mackinaw City and Charlevoix, and an hour and a half to Traverse City. Enjoy the scenic drive along Lake Michigan to Cross Village. You will not be disappointed with this location! Duplex

About the host

Host profile image
I just retired after working 38 years as a special education teacher. I am looking forward to spending more time in Harbor Springs. Here I am with my son, Eric and three grandchildren Antonia, Zane, and Cale, and my sister, Gertrude who helps with the garden.

Why they chose this property

My best friend, Carol, who grew up spending summers and holidays in the area always told me how beautiful and special this whole area of Michigan is and especially the city of Harbor Springs. So, when I visited in 1996 I learned how true her words are. I thought it would be a wonderful place to spend with family and it is!

What makes this property unique

The location of The Park View House is perfect. It borders the park with the public beach, shops and restaurants, and yet it is private. The views of the park, church and bay are the best of Harbor Springs. It is just a short walk to the dogie beach.
