Lovely apartment with a great outlook onto a park and river
Close to small shopping centre one way and large Plaza the other way. Close to Bus Station and many eating places. Short wall to beach
Everything about our two night stay at Absolute Waterfront was fabulous. Vicki was a wonderful host giving us lots of extra bits of information to make our stay extra special - also very quick to reply to our messages. The property is very spacious and luxurious and has the perfect location in Cotton Tree, with the large balcony looking out on the park, and the river in the background. The flagged ocean beaches are only a 15 minute walk away. Coffee shops and restaurants are all around.Everything you could want to ensure the perfect stay is in the apartment. All in all this was a New Year’s Eve to remember at the Absolute Waterfront.

A lovely apartment, perfect for two mums and their daughters. Both Queen bedrooms had comfy beds, walk-through robes, and direct access to a bathroom or ensuite. We appreciated having Smart TVs in each bedroom as well as in the lounge — a nice touch for winding down. The apartment was well-equipped with thoughtful starter amenities like coffee pods and dishwasher tablets.
The location was ideal, with plenty of restaurants nearby and Sunshine Plaza just a short distance away. We had a wonderful stay — thank you!
If we were to make any suggestions, it would be to add a few more everyday drinking glasses (we made do with the wine glasses, no problem!), an extra roll or two of toilet paper, and a dishcloth. The dining chairs, while lovely, felt a bit low for the table — especially when trying to fit in some work on the laptop around the kids’ activities. A small desk and chair setup could be a helpful addition for working guests.
None of these are dealbreakers — just gentle suggestions. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this apartment. Thanks again! ★★★★★

Waterfront
The location was ideal and close to everything and a stone throw from the water - the check in process was not ideal we did not know the number of the unit - the unit needs maintenance conducted eg: front door handle is very loose and the key needs to be jiggled - and inside the oven door needs attendance - there is no A/C in the rooms only one in the main lounge room which is on a timer which is not ideal when your paying that sort of money and one of the ensuite toilets has a continuous smell of sewer - the place needs a pest inspection as there were cockroaches everywhere - the internet cuts out constantly which in the end we discovered it was actually the TV itself

Hi Micheal, it’s funny that I spoke to you three days after you arrived on the phone and you said everything was great apart from the internet playing up, you told me that the unit was lovely. You rang me after you left to complain about everything. As soon as you told me this I had a neighbour go up and check as we usually have five star reviews.
The neighbour told me the handle was loose to which a locksmith was there and nine o’clock in the morning to tighten it. As far as the cockroaches you told me there was an infestation and that you had photos, which I asked you to send me. In which there was one cockroach. Our body corporate is first class and the premises are sprayed every year. Cockroaches fly so I’m sure the one cockroach had flown in due to the fly screens being left open. The neighbour also said we are not on septic, so there was no smell at all. The new tenants have arrived the day after you left, I have spoke to them and they have said the appartment is great. I feel that your review was extremely unjust.
First of all the apartment is a well maintained block and all facilities work well. The accommodation is split into two ensuited rooms either side of a large open plan living area that opens on to an enormous balcony deck (as do both rooms). There are modern smart TVs in each room, and walk through wardrobes. The apartment is tastefully decorated and well equipped. Expansive views are over a large park with the river behind, with water sports on the Maroochy river an easy stroll. There are cafes and restaurants within 100 metres, but these are convenient and not annoying, as they do not seem to open late. A further 5 minute flat walk in one direction takes you to pizzerias, seafood, bakery, takeaway, and gelateria. The Maroochy RSL is a similar distance, and a few minutes more gets you to KFC, or Aldi. The apartment is perfectly positioned to capture morning light, and an afternoon sea breeze. We had a great stay with good weather though I imagine the balcony would still be very usable in rain as it is quite deep and would provide good shelter. Beds were comfy and I wanted to take one of the pillows with me. Our host Vicki was patient with my questions (how do I make the A/C work) and was very quick to respond, and even suggested an evening itinerary for us - that was great; there when you needed her and not there when you didn't! One thing you need to be ready for: parking on site is limited, and street parking can be busy. All in all, 9.5/10 bananas and good value
