The cabins were clean & equipped. the lake was private & breathtaking, a perfect spot for yoga by the water with some level wood platforms right on the shore. The host thoughtfully offered to charge the power stations after a couple days to ensure we had enough power to get us through.

As we wake up out of winter we want to thank all our wonderful guests who stayed with us last year, we love to see you appreciate the great outdoors of Ontario as we do. Our pricing remains promotional (low!) for a little bit longer before the season starts, maybe you'll come join us again at one of our two cabins this spring/summer!
All the best,

Loved my stay at this cutie tiny Cabin oasis in the woods! Trails and lake access on the property, so you don’t have to go anywhere if you so choose. Eco friendly outhouse and outdoor shower, steps away from the cabin. Owner is quick to respond with any questions you may have. Foodland Grocery close by. Great weekend get away for singles or couples or choose to stay longer! It’s a beautiful place to swim, walk trails or lounge and listen to nature. Great place to recharge and get away from the hustle and bustle.

Thanks so much for your review, it was a pleasure to have you. Come again!
Had some time to get away and I couldn't be happier with my choice. Everything was exactly as described. Nice seclusion. The host was friendly and offered his services at a moments notice. The private lake is gorgeous. Don't forget to bring your fishing gear!
Would recommend and hopefully will return in the future.

Really had a wonderful time staying 2 nites, and visited the lake many times, spent the majority of our time down there. Took the canoe out each day, wonderful quiet and private lake, and never saw anyone else on it. ATV trails close by, but did not disrupt or trip.
The cabin had a lot of really sweet touches, making it a step up (and more comfortable) that basic camping. Would love to visit again in another season!!

Thanks so much for your comments, we'd love to have you back again.
Greatly enjoyed our stay. Host was very responsive and welcoming. Bed was very comfortable and kitchen was supplied as described. Only issue was that "Cabin #2" (this is Cabin #1) was very close to us (about 50m apart?)-- and we didn't feel it was described this way. Sitting at our picnic table you could distinctly hear voices and clinky of dishes from the others. They were not being loud -- the two cabin are just very close. Definitely not the "secluded" setting we were expecting.Other than that, everything else was great.
Wonderful location. A large wooded private property with its own private lake. Only one other cabin apart from this one. Complete silence surrounded by the leafy canopy of tall trees...heaven! Its like like staying in your own private Provincial Park. That is the glam part. The camp part means that there is no electricity, no plumbing and no wi-fi. But then who needs those urban comforts? Isnt the idea to escape from them for while? I certainly learned to appreciate every drop of water we used and realized how much of it we city slickes waste every day !!!
Had such a nice stay! The cabin was clean, area was beautiful and provided a ton of things to do and a lot of room. Outside area with the fire pit and bbq were such a nice touch. The cabin itself was beautifully made and the perfect size for 2 people. The walk to the lake was easy and extremely peaceful once you’re there. If you forget anything, the store is a 10 minute drive away. There’s another cabin close by but it feels very secluded from each other and gives you nice privacy!
If you’re going to stay here in the summer though definitely get some goooood bug spray but don’t let the bugs deter you from staying here, it was lovely!
Beautiful spot with all the amenities set up and most necessities provided. The lake was very nice for a swimming, kayaking and fishing. The compostable toilet is SOO convenient compared to typical camping. Kiyo was also generous to allow a few extra family members for a small cost. One thing to note is the insane mosquito population, they are starved and are not picky, so make sure to bring GOOD quality repellent. Also note that it's not completley private, there is another cabin close by and the owners residence is a close distance. So if you're looking to completely avoid human existance not the spot, but otherwise a wonderful and beautiful getaway.

Read the listing, follow the suggestions and it is a great place to stay… peaceful, secluded, you essentially have the lake to yourself. Cabin is greatly equipped. We brought too much. Great shower and toilet. Night temp was +30C we brought a little usb fan - we were cold. Hosts seem like wonderful people, shared dock was really nice. Second cabin neighbours, nice people. Lake was warm, gorgeous breeze… quiet. Bring hammocks, thank me later. Yes, there are a couple of ATVs, not a bother. Bring a couple of thermacells and nothing will bug you. Really nice stay, great set up, great cabin by people who seem to care. Thank you…

Overall we had a great stay! The area is beautiful and the cabin in surrounded by trees. The site is fairly big and it was very clean. The lake access is shared with the other cabin, but there are two docks set up so it would be easy to share the space. It was so quiet and peaceful, I definitely recommend staying here!
Some important things to note: you have to carry your stuff from the car through a trail in the woods to get to the cabin. We didn't realize this and we arrived after dark which made it difficult, but we managed. Also due to being in a forest, the mosquitoes were the worst I've ever experienced. Bug spray alone did not help us. So I definitely recommend bringing additional bug repellent products if you stay here.
