Great spring break!
Our family vacation was great! And this place gave us lots of good memories and activities. We cooked in the stove and oven, we had a campfire few nights. We spent lots of time outdoor, having hiking, cave visits and river cayaking.

I travel with my mom and my 2 children to adventure into th caves. This cabin was a gem! The pictures and description does not do it justice. If you like the outdoor quiet life, this is the place for you. It is nestled in a loop wrapped around a lake. Extremely quiet you can hear all of nature sounds, deer and squirrels are just all over the place. The cabin itself is beautiful and truly enjoyable. several places to sit outside, whether it’s the front porch or in the back or at the fire pit. Fully functioning kitchen, which we loved because we cooked aaaand coffee ready for you! I have never used a couch like the ones they have here and the whole family loved the recliners, such a luxury to them lol. The outside was beautiful, the firepit we wish we could have used more but it rained two days while there. Very nice set-up. And to take a walk or run around the loop is a sight it itself! Would absolutely come back again, told my mom in trying to think of other places to visit so we could use this cabin again.
Craftmanship everywhere you looked! Beautiful land and quiet. We stayed here for work but I'm already planning to return with my family for a vacation trip in the future!
Dwayne sent a welcome as soon as weArrived. We had several questions through our stay and Dwayne answered all our questions quickly. We had wonderful weather and were able to enjoy the fire pit and the s’mores that was left of us.
We loved everything about this property. The whole process was extremely easy. The cabin was decorated very nice. The furniture was really comfortable. The kitchen is huge and everything needed was provided.
We had an amazing experience here for a weekend getaway to explore Mammoth Cave. The cabin was perfect and it was everything we hoped it would be for our family. Thank you so much!
This is a very nicely restored and updated "Kentucky cabin", located in a nice location near a large lake and Mammoth Cave NP. We especially enjoyed the great room and fireplace, which was an excellent setting for our family to gather and enjoy each other's company. The host was excellent, responsive, and great to work with.

VERY RUSTIC
We decided on this cabin for a long weekend away. It was just like the pictures. We enjoyed the weekend with cavern tours and a few campfires.

The old style of the cabin was beautiful. The fire pit was comfortable and easy to use. Where it located in a wooded area my kids got to see deer right outside the windows which excited them. I would recommend the place to anyone that would like peace and quite time rather it with family or friends!
Cabin has rustic charm with modern conveniences. Very spacious with lots of places to go to relax on your own or connect with family/friends to chat or play board games. Front porch was great for viewing a variety of birds and many deer. The "loop" was nicely shaded by surrounding trees keeping us cool even on 90 degree days.
I came to my Moore family reunion in Glasgow and to get away, we have a stressful life. Cabin was awesome, the nature awesome. Didn't find the wifi password, but spent time on the front porch waving at neighbors. Would come again

The cabin itself is awesome. Felt like it was something from the show Barnwood Builders. Beautiful property and all around stay. The cleanliness was kind of lacking. A lot of dead bugs all over as well as mouse droppings. The previous renters left garbage in all the cans. The mice also got to the graham crackers in the s'more ingredient kit on the table before we did. Could hear them stirring through the cabin in the night even. The main floor bathroom door will not open open from the inside. None of these issues were worth bringing up on our short stay. It is overall a beautiful place and we loved our stay!
The wooded setting and privacy was amazing. There is one close neighbor but no problems. The scenery was beautiful even though it’s soon to be winter. The old style oven had me a little nervous for Thanksgiving dinner but we made it work. Only one thing we noticed missing was a can opener. Everything was very clean. The cabin was very cool!
We had a fantastic stay at this cabin! I love history, and I was blown away by the accuracy of the story that surrounds it (I'm not going to give anything away. You'll see when you arrive. LOL).
The owner was very easy to communicate with, and the neighborhood is lovely. My son really enjoyed fishing off the nearby docks. The neighbors are friendly, and you're about a 20 minute drive to Horse Cave, where there are so many special things to do.
I would recommend bringing any butter, baggies, seasonings, etc. that you would need for the kitchen. They provided a fabulous s'mores bar, which was nice.
