You can spend lazy days on the nearby beach, ride bikes in the safe and low vehicle speed neighborhood, or simply throw a line in the Bay or Gulf side to see what might be biting!
The Space:
This coastal cottage has 3 comfortable bedrooms and 2 baths, designer clean kitchen with everything you need to make your favorite meal inside or utilize the charcoal grill outside. Also, there is a spacious entertaining living room contiguous to the kitchen with plenty seating for everyone. Sun worshipers will enjoy the over-sized elevated deck in the day or in the evening the perfect spot to sip a glass of your favorite beverage. WIFI/Internet included.

This "Little Island in the Sun" is located just 16 miles west of 61st Street in Galveston. It is perfectly situated for great fishing in the surf or the Bay, as well as, excellent bird watching. It also has its own fishing pier and boat launch.

Come visit and enjoy ALL the outdoor adventures you could want! Watch dolphins, fish from the pier (or from one of our canal, bay or beachside rental homes), surf the waves, kayak, beach comb and soak up the sun and sea air. And after a day of activities, stop by one of the nearby popular hangouts - The West End Marina & Restaurants, The Waterman Seafood Grill and/or Cafe Michael Burger for a fun atmosphere to enjoy snacks, cocktails or meal!

When you rent a 979 VPS home, you'll also receive the 'comforts of home' guest welcome starter supply of shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, toilet paper and paper towels, dishwasher and clothes washer pods. We want your stay to be as easy as you do, and we make every effort to delight.
DOG-FRIENDLY:
Up to 2 well-behaved dogs considered, subject to approval and a non-refundable pet fee ($125 for 1 dog, extra $75 for 2) per stay.

Our properties include WIFI/Internet and TV service for your streaming services. Due to our location (Island living is a whole other way of life), service may be unpredictable or spotty, and repair times can be delayed. While we will do everything we can to ensure these items are in good working order before your arrival, please note, these services may not be as consistent as they are in your area. So grab your favorite people, ditch the electronics, and spend the day at our beautiful beaches!
979 VACATION PROPERTY SERVICES:
All 979 Vacation Property Services rental home follow local and state tax rules. Reservations may be booked up to 365 days in advance of check-in. Please send inquiry and details if your stay is more than a year out, as rates and availability may not be updated. Each reservation includes applicable taxes, a cleaning fee, $1,000,000 liability protection and $10,000 damage insurance - No Security Deposit Required!
CANCELLATION POLICY:
For any new reservation, you may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. Some exceptions may apply for last-minute reservations.
After that, cancel at least 30 days before your check-in and receive a refund in your original form of payment less the booking fee.
Reservations made on 3rd party channels such as Airbnb, VRBO, TripAdvisor, etc may be subject to their terms and conditions which may be different than 979's. Please reference the site where you originally reserved your stay.
