Thanks so much for your feedback, Being a rural area its quite a common phenomena in spring. I will have them removed so that it does not bother future guests. My apologies once again & I am glad everything else worked out well.

Great getaway!

We were in the Trenton area for a wedding. This rental accommodated my entire family comfortably. The outdoor space was amazing, plenty of outdoor seating space, beautiful scenery, we would recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

This was a wonderful spot for a three-generation Thanksgiving weekend. We were all comfortable in the bedrooms and the three bathrooms were great. The large kitchen and dining room were just what we needed. Lots of parking space and a fantastic dock, deck and backyard. Quick and responsive communication with the host.

great place to vacation

Very spacious. Lots of room for six adults and three children. The fenced back yard was great as we had a toddler with us. We even saw a pair of swans with their young passing by on the river. Groceries were available close by if we needed anything. We all agreed we had a great time. Would recommend it for families.

Lovely Location

We have just had a lovely 4 night stay at this property. We were attending the Quinte airshow, and this location was perfect. It is located in a small town that has a Foodland supermarket and an LCBO, less than 5 minutes away, what more could you need. The driveway is long enough that there would be no issue having 6 cars on it with room to spare. Being located on the river is always a plus in the summer, and bug spray was provided. Having 2 inflatable dinghies with plenty of different sized life jackets, meant we all had lots of fun on the river. All of us found the beds to be very comfortable. Our group was 5 adults and an 8 year old. 4 of the adults are in the 60 - 70 year old range, so needless to say that is very important. The outdoor deck furniture allowed us to relax anywhere we wished to on the large and spacious deck. All the utensils you would need to cook meals is provided, and we used just about all of them. The BBQ is in great condition, and was clean, which is not always the case. There is a walking trail over to the island on the opposite side of the river, which can be accessed 3 or 4 doors up the street, across a weir/bridge.

There were several issues with this property that the host would not have been able to fix during our stay.Stove burners-large ones would only be on highest heat no matter what it was set too.Bathroom Shower head sprayed water over the curtain rod and soaked the bathroom floor. Mould on baseboards near tub.Advertised 3 rooms with Queen size beds but were actually Double (full) beds.Sofa, lifted up cushions and found some broken cookies and lot of crumbs.
