Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!

We had an amazing stay, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The house has plenty of room and the kids absolutely loved the indoor pool. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. I would definitely recommend this property and stay there again when we visit the area. The location is right down the street from a fun park and located centrally among lots of wineries and breweries, and the Falls is just a short drive.

The property location and scenery was great. The house itself was accommodating. Our major complaint was that the exterior of the property had litter around it. The interior and pool area needed more attention with housekeeping. We appreciated the refreshments provided by the owner.

Big Lakefront Cottage for a staycation with pool.

It was an amazing stay in the house and the host was super friendly. Our children enjoyed the indoor heated pool and we found the place much comfy in the winter. Kitchen loaded by all amenities for our big team. And the house is super spacious for my 6 family and their children. Fireplace was an addition and lot of space for car parking. Lake view and CN tower is awesome from the house, house is covered by fence and gate make more private. Recommended and in my bucket list for next summer.

It is a great property that is in desperate need of care. Both outside and inside. The pool had scum around the sides. They did respond to us and clean it but there were days that it was not available to us simply because it wasn’t clean. The dryer took forever to dry. The supply of towels was inadequate. They were very generous with some soda and snacks that were provided.

Big Lake house with a heated pool tub

We booked the property for the birthday celebration of our child, joined with 5 families on the lake patio and had dinner outside. Infants enjoyed the heated pool and the pool room. Rooms was well arranged and clean, a lot of space in house with a double height main floor. Lake view from the house is mindblowing. Host was super friendly and recommended. Pool water took 5-6 hours to heat-up and not provided towels for swimming. Overall the property was excellent for a family reunion.

I attempted to contact the owner directly prior to this review. He asked for pics which I provided. I heard nothing for a few days so I attempted to reach out for a response. The owner read the text but failed to respond. This review will provide a warning to those who think about renting this home. The pictures on the site are definitely from a better time. The property up front is very nice but that where it ends. To say that everything in the backyard and interior is dated, weathered and worn out is an understatement. You would think for what they bill per night, they would accommodate beds for all guests and not just mattresses on the floor while full beds in the basement remain empty and empty unless I paid an additional fee. To add insult to injury, the home is filthy. Our guests walked in bare feet that were blackened within minutes. It seems as though Robert is trying to squeeze every last dime out of this home. I rented the property for my son’s wedding and was embarrassed by its dilapidated state. The photographer couldn’t even use the backyard for many shots as everything was just dirty and weathered. What a shame as the property has potential. But, I’d spend the 4000 elsewhere. Unfortunately I was only able to add 8 photos as there were plenty more.
