Not very clean

Location was perfect for Jim Thorpe leaf peeping weekend. Home was nice. There was plenty of information avout the house around so there were no questions. Ok for 2 families of 7 for a weekend. It was very dusty and needed a deep cleaning. Had it been clean, it would have been perfect.

Superb stay!

This was a weekend honeymoon trip as we got married 9/29/2023. Pocono Pete's place is a nice home tucked in the woods just off the road. It had the feel of a ski chalet only missing the snow that would come in just a few months. We only needed the master bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with all the comforts of home with glasses, plates, silverware, cooking utensils, etc. Even regular and decaf coffee in the cabinet for the coffeemaker! His WiFi worked great and no issues. The loft game room / lounge area was fun. My wife and I had nightly air hockey tournaments. There are games for the kids and we left a kids' book there (written by my wife's mother) for other families that stay and enjoy Pete's place. We enjoyed Pocono Pete's humorous signs around the house which conveyed important information with a good dose of humor. We were actually laughing out loud. Outside, it's quiet and beautiful as you drink in the sounds of nature and the woods. The hot tub was SO comfortable and relaxing after the 3 hour drive there and after a day of exploring the Poconos. The hot tub is behind the house. Nothing beats sitting in the tub at night, sipping on a drink while listening to the sounds of nature. In summary, Pete's place is easy to find, comfortable, relaxing, and only 25 minutes from Jim Thorpe which we explored. We will definitely stay here again.
