Trust me, you definitely want to book this place! It’s all that it’s promised to be and more! Love everything about this place, the privacy, the cleanliness, all the extras, and the sauna and hot tub are an extra bonus! Will definitely book again!
Lovely cabin close to hiking, restaurants and breweries in Boone, Banner Elk and Blowing Rock. We really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna after a long hike! Plus a full
Kitchen for slow mornings with coffee and a view. Host was very responsive.
One of the best getaways ever! The Firefly Cabin is everything promised, charming, quaint, comfortable and meticulously clean. Jandy was gracious and took care of everything. There were welcome goodies, even cold waters in the refrigerator (she did not overlook one detail) heated bathroom floors, the hot tub was private and so relaxing, even the linens were top notch and so cozy! We hope to take many more trips to firefly to enjoy the peace and quiet of this quaint mountain town!
This is a fabulous spot no doubt. Super quiet, peaceful and comfortable. The vibe of the house is comfy and clean. Great space in what has to be a near new house. The lichen is well stocked but a bit tight if you plan on cooking multiple nights. Counter space is at a premium. The grill is fine for making proteins for two people, but not much more. The hot tub is great as is the sauna, however if you are a regular sauna user, it doesn’t get quite hot enough. The road in and out is a bit tight but to get the seclusion this place offers, it is worth the adventure. This was a great spot to celebrate our anniversary.
