Amazing log cabin with a full timber interior. Beds were some of the most comfortable we've had after many rentals. Quiet and secluded location with plenty of room for 6 folks or more. We really enjoyed how dark the nights were and well appointed the rooms and lounge areas were. The management and checkin processes were simple and easy to communicate with. We would recommend and will be back

Great house in perfect location for us! Booking and communication was seemless. The only reason not 5 stars is, we planned on grilling steaks, and the grill was not operable. It was a little disappointing but we went to plan B Overall great place and would stay again.

Peaceful VMI Family Weekend

Our stay for VMI Family Weekend was peaceful and relaxing. The cabin is comfortable and definitely accommodates a family of 9. The property is beautiful with views of the mountains. The neighborhood is quite and being in Raphine helped to escape the busyness of Lexington during the VMI Family Weekend. We would wholeheartedly recommend staying in this cabin!

Raphine Retreat

Fantastic house in a beautiful area 23 minutes from Lexington. Lots of yard and games for the kids. Coordination with the host was fantastic and effortless from start to finish. We hope to return soon!

Great place to stay for a VMI graduation or other activity. The house allowed space outside for outdoor games while others sat on the deck and talked. Easy drive to and from VMI (25 minutes) and even closer to Devils Backbone Brewery. Great view of the mountains from the deck. Very relaxing location.

Raphine visit

We stayed at this property for the 2025 Washington and Lee graduation. It was the perfect choice because it provided a place to relax with grandparents and our family. The property and house was magnificent with great views of the mountains. The house was spacious and just made you feel at home. The hosts were responsive but not intrusive. Our only regret is that we did not find this property sooner in our 4 years worth of travel back and forth to Lexington.
