Welcome to Breakers West, Professionally managed by Gulf Coast Vacation Rentals. an exclusive beachside retreat nestled among swaying palm trees and vibrant hibiscus on Sanibel Island's coveted West Gulf Drive. This intimate, three-story complex features just 18 privately owned condos, ensuring a serene and uncrowded escape. Located a mere 100 yards from the soft, white sands of the Gulf of Mexico, Breakers West offers the perfect blend of privacy and convenience for your next getaway.

This beautifully renovated second-floor end unit boasts over 1,200 square feet of light-filled living space and is the closest condo to the Gulf. Inside, you'll find two spacious bedrooms, two full baths, and an open-concept layout designed for relaxation. The modern kitchen, complete with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a Keurig coffee maker, is fully equipped for preparing everything from casual breakfasts to elegant dinners.

The master suite features a king-size bed, a wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and a private bath with a luxurious walk-in shower. The guest bedroom offers two twin beds, its own wall-mounted TV, and another private bath with a walk-in shower. For added convenience, the condo includes a full-size washer and dryer, along with thoughtful extras like beach chairs, towels, and complimentary WiFi.

The living room, furnished with a comfortable sleeper sofa and a flat-screen TV, opens to a screened-in patio where you can unwind with a refreshing drink while enjoying the gentle sea breezes. Step outside and take advantage of the complex's amenities, including a heated pool, BBQ grills, an outdoor shower, and a bike rack, with easy access to Sanibel's scenic bike paths.

This unit will rent for less than a week in the off season, call for a nightly rate - 4 night minimum May- November. 7 night Minimum December - April.

The place was a little slice of heaven.

So close to the beach, the screened in patio was so relaxing. The condo was just a short drive to dining and shopping. Would absolutely return.

Great condo with easy beach access

This is definitely one of the best condos we have stayed at in our 7 years going to Sanibel. You actually have a beach view from the screened in back deck. The condo is beautifully decorated with very comfortable furniture and beds. We will definitely be returning to this condo on our next trip to Sanibel. Access to the condo was extremely simple with very clear and prompt communications.

We had a lovely stay at Breakers, the condo was clean and in a good location. We rented bikes and biked to restaurants. It was easy to communicate with property management.

A great place to rest and enjoy the beach

The unit has a great view of the beach. It was very well stocked with the things needed. The beach was crazy nice and not crowded at any point. It was hard to see the impact of the hurricane on the buildings around Breakers West. Hope they are able to recover soon

The whole checkin and checkout procedure was simple and well communicated.

We had a couple of issues with broken items that we noticed and could have had replaced but we didn't need to. The location to the beach was great and lots of great shelling right there. Location was great for bike riding and driving places. We already booked similar dates for 2026, same unit.

The condo is dark. The lighting is mostly dim lamp lights. The guest bedroom could use a Roman Shade or drapes to block out the exterior flood light from outside the condo. The decor and furniture is a bit dated. It could use a fresh look. The property is very clean. The bathrooms and kitchens are new. The beds are comfy and the sheets are clean. The owners are very helpful and accommodating, we actually left an item and they offered to mail it to us!

Nice and quiet view was great although if they rebuild the condos south there wo t be any.

Peaceful place

Enjoyed breakfast on the screened in porch with a view of the beach and ocean. Took included chairs to the beach to watch sunsets. Lower rating as the mattress in the main bedroom was way to soft and resulted in back pain. The twin beds' were better but too short

Quiet. Had elevator. Could see ocean from room.

Was not steps from beach. Picked place based on that wordage. I am handicapped and use a walker. Walk way to beach was very long and only compacted shells half way. If I was able to use walker that far I sat at tree line because couldn't go any further.
