We had a wonderful time. Very tranquil and peaceful. We paddled our kayaks on the lake every day. Thanks for a great vacation! The cabin was well equipped and cozy.
We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was well stocked with everything you’d need or could think of including a BBQ which was so nice to use. The only thing I’d recommend is that if you are wanting a firm mattress this cabin doesn’t have that. We did have a little difficulty sleeping because the beds were overly soft with the memory foam topper but made the best of it. Overall, we’d rent the cabin again.
An amazing mother daughter getaway! Fishing was excellent! Perch, sunfish, bass, trout, you name it. All from the dock! Day and night we caught fish. The cabin was great, two bedrooms, washer/dryer, AC, stocked full of any item you could need, in a wonderful location in a nice quiet cove of the lake - paddle boards, row boat, floaties, life jackets all included. Owner is very responsive and quick to resolve any issues if needed! So close to Newport for groceries, food, gym, etc. Really a wonderful rental can't recommend it enough!

We love this place
This cabin on Diamond Lake was perfect for my husband and myself. We stayed the first week in June, so it was still a bit chilly in the Northwest for any swimming, but the water was crystal clear. Lots of wildlife. Duck families, as well as geese families, entertained us. We love how warm and inviting the decor is, it brought back childhood memories for me. The beds are comfortable, the amenities are first-rate, and the host is wonderful.
Great lake access. Warm water! Cabin was well stocked and comfortable. Loved the living room couch-so cozy! We didn't know from the on line info that there was a propane BBQ, but we were so glad there was one for our use. Great space, very fun and all the comforts of home. Thank you so much for a great 1-week vacation!
Quiet location in a cove and no wake zone on Diamond Lake. History of the cottage and the family shared in a very well thought binder. Peaceful sun porch with a breakfast nook for morning tea and devotions. Close to Newport which history is well worth exploring in the museum and historical buildings such as Owen’s Deli, which still has the old time soda fountain they serve from still.

Clean and Cozy
We have only good things to say about our stay at The Little Yellow Cabin on Diamond Lake. One piece of advice - read the Welcome Book before doing anything else. It is full of information that you need and information that is just helpful. We did not even open it until the day before we were leaving and were kicking ourselves all day for that misstep. The cabin is very clean, cozy, and homey, and the hanging chair in the living room is SO comfortable. Also, the cabin is very well stocked with just about everything you could need, including an abundance of dishes, cookware, utensils, toiletries, cleaning products, games, and outdoor fun stuff. We did some fishing from the dock and caught several undersized trout and perch. A neighbor informed us that the lake was recently stocked with several thousand trout, so fishing this summer will be wonderful.Thank you, Eme, for creating such an inviting space to relax and rewind! If you'll have us, we'll be back!
