Epic. Beautiful, well-loved property directly on the water. It has everything we could need and more. Everything was clearly labeled. Everything was very clean. It was perfect for us. Close to anything you may want to visit on the peninsula above Houghton. We appreciated the wood available for purchase and access to the canoe.
We loved this location. To be right on the lake was such a treat. We got the most beautiful sun rises and northern lights. The house was great. Plenty of room to spawl out. We brought some kitchen stuff just in case but we needed nothing. It was so well stocked..

This was the perfect place to unwind and relax. We walked the waters edge at least twice a day and found lots of beach glass. The location provided us with many opportunities for day trip adventures. The cabin was stocked with everything from Qtips to a coffee grinder. Very neat, tidy and clean.

Carol, thank you for this lovely review. Finding beach glass is always a treasure, and walking the shores of Lake Superior can be very peaceful. We're glad that you took advantage of it, and we hope that you come back again. - Claire, FVR
Amazing location! The AC and beds were great, the house was cold and bed were very comfortable. House was clean. Room for improvement fix the broken glass door, it had a piece of wood covering it. Provide a working BBQ pit, it was falling apart. Outdoor cushions need to be replaced.
We took a chance on this property. For the price and the fact that it stated it was right on Lake Superior we were skeptical! I can tell you I wasn’t there an hour before I said I would book this place again for next year. It was extremely clean and spacious and was so close to Lake Superior you could hear it inside. It was well stocked with anything you may need and communication was superb! The beach was a great combination of beautiful sand and rocks so my rock loved son loved it while still being able to play on the sand. The WiFi and Roku tv was excellent! Having a washer and dryer was a blessing! I know what you’re thinking if you’re reading this. There has to be something not up to par but there simply isn’t!
