Take in Lake Superior breathtaking views! Centrally located with a Sauna
Located on Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula, This cottage is only 400 feet from the mouth of the Tobacco River and located on 230' of Lake Superior lakeshore. Approximately 15 miles from Lake Linden and Calumet. The nearest village is Gay. The views, breezes and waves are simply fantastic.
This property has a spectacular view of the Lake from all the main living areas and bedrooms. The multi-level deck allows you to enjoy the summer breezes or the fall colors with family and friends.
The Lower level has laundry area, and a bunkroom Sauna and Pool table.
Upper level features beautiful red maple and cherry hardwood vaulted ceiling and open design from kitchen, dining and living room for great views of the lake and easy conversation. Master bedroom features a king bed and 180 degree view of the lake. Bathroom is a full bath including bathtub and shower.
Property is slightly elevated from the lake enhancing the lake view, but requires a few steps down to the Lake.
The Tobacco River is about 400 feet away. Old restored pier 500 feet the other way brings back memories of old copper mining days gone by.
If you revel in ATV, UTV or snowmobiling riding this place is a perfect launching point for exploring the Keweenaw. We are positioned across the street is from a major trail head. There is plenty of room for parking trailers and toy haulers. Trail 133 comes to the road for easy ride in and out access.
We have one Ring security camera between the overhead and the man door. It has audio and microphone capabilities. The main reason for it we find it necessary is to help guests with any issues in getting into to the cabin. The second reason is for snow removal during the winter months. There is a drastically different snow accumulation from one area of the Keweenaw to another.

We had an amazing time from sun up to late nights under the stars, everyone from infants to seniors in our large family group had fun. The house and property are gorgeous and located close to everything the peninsula offers. The hosts were so easy to deal with and extremely accommodating.
The property was as described. We had a wonderful time with the lake view actually made it all the more stunning and relaxing. It was perfectly located to explore the keweenaw and relax, the property owners were easy to communicate with without being intrusive and just overall experience was wonderful
The vistas were beautiful. Like superior spectacular. The property is essentially a one bedroom cabin with a bunkhouse that’s exclusively designed for children. I’m a 67 year-old 6 foot tall and 175 pound man and had to crawl into a bunk and roll out onto the floor to get out of it. The bunk system Affords 2 3 double size bed beds in a bunkbed configuration and in a 10 x 10 room. Perfect for a family with younger children, not so much for two guys on a hiking trip…. everything else was grand.
7 good friends and I recently stayed here for my Bachelor Party, and we could not have been happier with the place! Stunning view, clean, and plenty of amenities. Great option for those who enjoy cooking or grilling at the VRBO for friends. Tons to do in the area. Traveling to High Rock and taking a tour of the Delaware Copper Mine is highly recommended. The sauna works great and was a fantastic way to end each day. The fire pit and gas fire table on the rear deck are great additions as well. We have nothing but good things to say about our stay, and would love to come back in the future!
We really enjoyed our stay here, the location was great for traveling around the Keweenaw Peninsula. We really enjoyed the deck with the fire table and the sauna was a great bonus! It had everything we needed. Additionally the owners were very easy to get ahold of and very thorough in their communication. We would definitely stay here again!
