Great location

We needed accom near my elderly parents for a month and this apartment was our home away from home with everything we needed. Booking, check in all so easy. Clean, spacious, fabulous comfy beds. Quiet inside despite high street shops and restaurants outside. Best location for dining, shopping, beach or day trips. Great for families or singles. Highly recommend.

Surf at Avalon was in good condition.There was insufficient instruction on where to find the bins outside. Otherwise the hosts gave sufficient detail

Nearly a 5 Star Stay

Surf at Avalon Beach is a lovely apartment in a beautiful location with just a few flaws that prevent me from giving 5 Stars. On the positive side the location is 1st class, the apartment surprised to the upside with little noise if any from neighbors. The apartment was well laid out, clean and very functional. The negatives were as follows;1. The keys are located in a clunky lockbox of which one functioned well however the 2nd one just didn't open or close easily. The owners need a better system for guests to access the apartment.2. The car park openers need new batteries as they did not always open the security gates. It was a bit hit or miss3. The main bathroom sink tap has a leak and the ensuite bathroom tap drips which is annoying4. There were no additional garbage bags provided which was annoying for an 11 day stay. I hope the owners take care of these issues as it Surf at Avalon is a great place to stay with just a few minor flaws!
