We have easy access to Wither Hills Farm Park, scenic walking and biking trails, and are a short drive to town, supermarkets, and Marlborough’s renowned wineries.

Our property combines modern luxury with natural beauty. Bright, airy rooms with contemporary decor and expansive windows flood the space with natural light, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Guests can unwind after a day of adventuring in our private garden, sipping a glass of local wine, enjoying fruit from the garden, and dining alfresco (BBQ's are the best!).

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! The bedrooms were incredibly spacious, offering plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable. The entire home was spotless, which made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. One of the highlights was the stunning gardens and outdoor space—truly a peaceful oasis that was perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine in the evenings. Everything in the house was thoughtfully labeled, which made it so easy to find what we needed and navigate the space without any hassle. Having laundry facilities available was a huge bonus, especially after a day of exploring. The location was simply unbeatable—quiet, serene, and surrounded by the beauty of wine country. It felt like the perfect retreat for a weekend getaway. We can't recommend this property enough and would absolutely love to come back!

We no longer live at Bird Song Villa as it’s become a popular holiday home and short term rental but when we did, we adored the house and hope that it shows through our hospitality 😊

Why they chose this property

We love the Marlborough region because of its easy going vibe, beautiful landscape and accessibility to nature.


Who could talk about the area without mentioning wine 😇? Although Marlborough is know for its Sauvignon Blanc, our best kept secret is the amazing other varieties that the wineries produce and don’t tend to sell overseas. If you’re here try our Riesling, Chenin Blanc, Sparking Brut and Pinot Noir and you’ll fall in love with Marlborough wines all over again.

We also love the Wither Hills Farm Park which has hiking and mountain biking trails galore. The house has direct access to the park which is a huge perk because the sunsets up there are glorious.

What makes this property unique

Everything! The garden, birds, fruit trees as well as the clean and inviting spaces that have everything guests need to relax and enjoy themselves.

Our property is close to everything like the Marlborough Sounds, wineries, hikes on the Queen Charlotte Track, Blenheim central, Picton and countless other locations and activities.
