We had our micro wedding here, and it was absolutely perfect! The property was beautiful, peaceful, and such a great spot for our special, intimate celebration. Everything turned out just the way we hoped, and our guests loved it too. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such an important moment. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Our family had the most amazing time at this wonderful home. We loved the location and all the outdoor space and used every bit of it. Great for large groups and all ages. 75th Birthday Party

Alyce's place was perfect for our group to celebrate a friend's 75th birthday. Beautiful setting, great amenities, and very clean. Also Alyce kept in great communication with me. I would definitely recommend this place!

Amazing venue for our wedding

The property was absolutely amazing for our wedding. The hosts were super accommodating and supported us every step of the way for our planning process. We had a little over 50 guests and a Dj and bartender for perfectly with plenty of room for dancing. Can’t recommend it enough!!

I can’t begin to express how absolutely perfect 1C Barn was for our special day. It was everything we dreamed of and more! Alyce was an incredible host. She was so responsive, kind, and patient with all my questions throughout the planning process. The venue’s charm and elegance created the most intimate, unforgettable atmosphere. Beautiful Event Space

We really enjoyed our stay. The main area was the perfect combination of functional space and cozy home feel. We were a bit disappointed in the kitchen due to the sparse baking wares and cooking utensils. We had to get creative while doing any cooking.

We ask our guests to definitely tell us if they are lacking items and we are happy to drop items off to you during your stay. With such a large kitchen including place settings for over 50 that we provide for weddings it can be hard for us to know what has gone missing over time from our kitchen or what may have gotten rearranged to a wedding cabinet vs the main kitchen.

Everything was great. We were looking for a place for our little wedding ceremony and this was the perfect spot. We loved a lot that it is all set up to celebrate the ceremony outside the cabin and, if the weather is not friendly, you can do it inside as well,–and that's what we did–. We also appreciated a lot all the facilities such as glasses, plates, etc., that are appropriated for a ceremony like this. Thank you for everything. This place it's highly recommended.

Beautiful Location

We shared this home with another family for USAFA parent's weekend and it was perfect for our group. The house was super clean when we arrived and the has lots of fun touches. There was plenty of space to spread out both inside and out, and some fun games to play. The distance to the Academy was perfect for our many trips back and forth. We enjoyed it so much we already booked our next stay!

Perfect Place for A Wedding

My daughter and her fiancé wanted a small destination wedding. Colorado Springs has been a favorite vacation place for our family for years. The house and surrounding property were absolutely stunning! Lots of extra wedding decor to use and a great hot tub and fire pit! Plus lots of games in the garage area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!

Room for 7 with space to spare

Spent 4 nights with extended family. Plenty of room for all to cook, eat, relax and play some games. Close to hwy for easy access. Great communication; as described. Liked the primary suite; kids could be in basement or hot tub and we could sleep!
