This was a perfect Location for our trip to Madoc. Cottage was great and with three bedrooms and lots of bed. Air Conditioning was great asset in head wave. Not a fault of the cottage but we wished the lake was swimmable but unfortunately was not. Loved the use of the paddle boat and plenty of kayaks for all to use. Traffic from highway 62 could be loud at times but luckily could not hear traffic in the cottage. The staff were amazing and quick to respond to questions.

We stayed at this cottage in mid November. The outside of the cottage is nice. Not far from the lake. The inside however, was another story. Absolutely zero towels, facecloths etc. they ask you to do the dishes before leaving. No soap or dishrags to be found. The cottage was freezing. They have a heat pump but I would assume there is little to no insulation so the heating system couldn’t keep up. We all slept in our street clothes including sweaters and wool socks. Not a pleasant experience at all. Big fail
