Thank you for your review! We’re glad you enjoyed the clean, pet-friendly property, the outdoors, and the hot tub. It’s great to hear the nearby winery was convenient and that our team could assist promptly. We’d love to welcome you back anytime!
Overall it’s a good stay. Property is clean, management is responsive, and it’s a cute weekend stay. My only complaints are the couch is too small to be comfortable to watch TV on with 2 people, the ladders to get into the lofts feel a little shaky and are uncomfortable to climb, and one of the pans is non-stick yet they don’t have non-stick spray in the kitchen. Besides that, we had a wonderful and would recommend this place!

Thank you! We’re glad you had a wonderful stay and appreciated the cleanliness and responsiveness. We’ll share your feedback on the couch, ladders, and kitchen items with our team.
Lovely, secure property with modern upgrades to the cabin. Perfect for a couples hill country getaway. Only downside was the listed included a "yard for fido", but the yard was not fully fenced.

Thank you for your kind review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the secure property, modern cabin upgrades, and found it to be a great couples Hill Country getaway. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the yard and apologize for any confusion, your note is helpful, and we’ll be sure to clarify that detail in the listing. We’d love to host you again in the future!
Hot tub was a very nice amenity. The rooms were as comfortable as can be & water pressure was great. Loved how remote the area is. Very relaxing! Was unable to connect to Wi-Fi on the property, during my stay. Overall good experience.

Thank you for your review! We’re glad you enjoyed the hot tub, comfortable rooms, and the peaceful, remote setting. We appreciate your feedback about the Wi-Fi and we are looking into it. We’re happy you had a relaxing stay and would love to host you again!
The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Easy drive to Wimberly, wineries, breweries, and parks. Hot tub was nice to have at the end of the day.
We enjoyed our stay. We l the only thing we thought would make it a little better would be window coverings that would block a little more light. The property was clean, well maintained and easily accessible. Gated entry gave a safe and secure feeling.

This place was exactly what we had in mind for a quick weekend getaway. The place offers plenty of privacy and the amenities included everything we wanted. We enjoyed using the gas grill for all our cooking and enjoyed a fire in the fire pit.

Cozy cabin on Lots of Land. If you are going to use the lofts, they are best suited to children/young adults as the ladders are narrow.

Thank you for your feedback! We're so glad you enjoyed the cozy cabin and the spacious land. We appreciate your note about the lofts – you're absolutely right, the narrow ladders are better suited for children or young adults. We'll make sure to mention this for future guests. We hope to host you again soon!
Overall it was good for the short weekend. The place was quiet and clean. It is perfect for a couple wanting a quiet get-away. The only negative is the loft areas are not ideal for an adult to stay, middle of the night you had to be extremely careful when moving - if you raise up to fast you will hit your on the ceiling.

Thank you for your feedback! I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the quiet and cleanliness of the space. I appreciate your note about the loft—I'll make sure to better highlight that aspect for future guests. It’s great to know it was still a relaxing getaway, and we’d love to host you again!
The cottage was lovely and just the right size for my husband and I. Our dog enjoyed it also! We were minutes away from the Wimberly Winery and about 10 minutes from downtown Wimberly. The only issue we experienced was a slow moving shower drain. Someone from the property came out and resolved it that same day. I gave 4 stars for cleanliness because the floors in kitchen and bathroom weren't free of hair and dust. One more tip: perhaps you can change the hinges on the refrigerator, so that the door opens on the left. It was tricky to get into frig and curtains kept getting caught. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and we would recommend the property to our friends.

I was genuinely impressed with this cottage and its surrounding property. I liked that it is gated, requiring a code to enter. The property is located right off the main road, but I will say really look before you exit onto the main road because some of the trees are blocking the view to see if someone is coming. The cottage was a little close to the road after entering the property, but still felt secluded, and you felt unbothered there. The cottage is really cute, exactly as shown and described online. I took it upon myself to clean a little more and update the clocks, but the overall feel of the cottage was cozy. Also, I will say if you are a coffee and tea drinker make sure to stop at HEB in town or bring your own from home--there is all the essentials to cook with, but they do not supply any coffee or teas for the coffee pot. Some vrbos have some available, but this one did not, so just FYI. The porch was truly inviting and the jacuzzi was amazing to have. It does have a big grill to be used, even though we chose not to use it. The property is about 10-15 minutes from Wimberley Square, so it is easy to go into town and back if you would like. The only real downfall was getting bit by chiggers while out there--not sure if it was because they are on the property or inside the cottage. So other than that we loved the experience and would definitely revisit if we choose to in the future. Thank you Stardust Cottage for the great experience and ease of stay. We appreciate it!

Thank you for your thoughtful review, Rachele. We're pleased to hear you enjoyed the comfort and coziness of Stardust Cottage, as well as its inviting porch and jacuzzi. We appreciate your suggestions regarding the coffee and tea provided, we do disclose in the rental agreement that we don't supply these items.
We look forward to welcoming you back in the future!
Cozy Cottage for Small Family w/ Everything You Need
We enjoyed our stay. The grounds are kept and the pond is a short walk away and has fishes and offers a wonderful space to unwind. There are 4 Adirondack chairs next to the pond and there is a fire pit and grill which appears to be a FCFS area. The hot tub also offers a wonderful way to unwind. There was a burn ban during our stay, but there is a nice fire pit to roast hot dogs or marshmallows, if the conditions allow. The property is situated in a GREAT location that is both close and far enough from many sites. The cottage is best suited for a small family. It offers 3 QB in 3 separates sleeping spaces. Two are found in open lofts above the main bedroom and kitchen. The kitchen and sitting room are very small. There are only 3 bar stools. So, if you're a group of more than 3, you may need to turns eating or eat from your lap. Offering a 6-seater picnic table outside would be a great improvement. We appreciated how clean and new things were and hope that future renters help conserve this for the owners. Other things to keep in mind are that the ladders to get to the lofts can be challenging to climb for a full-sized adult. Also, the restroom does not have a door and may only be accessed by stepping into the main room.

I would suggest reading reviews on this company.1. NO King Bed in Master Bedroom even though picture and room type stated. (Was told there was a glitch, hmmmm. I don't think so)
2. No TV in the Master Bedroom even though there is a picture of a TV in the bedroom, guessing that it was photoshopped.
3. Fenced yard for Fido (that is what they wrote)...well big water tank in the backyard, I'm guessing they consider that a fence. I'm guessing they consider a fence yard as three sides with no fence on the fourth side.
4 Oven, I think they mean a toaster oven.
5. This place holds 6 people, but only 4 bath towels, so I guess some people would have to share
6. Private hot tub....well there are neighbors right next door and they were working on the fence. So we just said hello :)
7. The lofts are great if you are about 2 ft-3 ft tall. So I'm guessing maybe kids that can climb a ladder.
Not a bad place if they would have just been honest about the listing.

Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent stay. We sincerely apologize for the discrepancies and inconveniences you encountered, and we appreciate your patience in bringing them to our attention.
We've taken immediate action to rectify the inaccuracies in the bed sizes and other listing details, ensuring that future guests receive the correct information.
The unexpected removal of the TV and the subsequent disappointment it caused are genuinely regrettable. We understand how crucial it is for our guests to have accurate expectations, and we apologize for any frustration this may have caused. Our team has addressed this internally to prevent such oversights in the future.
We also want to express our regret that we couldn't accommodate your request for more than half of your stay. Meeting our guests' expectations is a top priority, and we understand the impact this had on your experience. We would like to point out that the offered refund of the pet fee totaled more than half of the rent paid for the nights stayed but was met with resistance. We strive to be fair and transparent in resolving any issues, and your feedback helps us improve our processes.
Your insights are invaluable, and we are committed to learning from this experience to enhance the overall quality of our services. We genuinely value your input and hope to have the opportunity to make things right in the future.
I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you plan on staying inside and not making any noise. Upon reading the description of the vrbo again “enjoy the fishing pond” there was no pond. “Explore the beautiful 11 acres” there was nothing to explore. In fact we were actually accused of trespassing on property when we didn’t even step foot off of the porch. We received noise complaint at 8:42 and was informed that neighbors were on quiet time already but there was no listing of quiet hours. By the time we received the text we had already been inside eating. The neighbors/property owners/whomever kept coming in and out of the gate and we respectfully waved at them, nothing disrespectful. The ac did not work the first night, I decided to wait till morning to report because despite it being very hot and sticky in the SHED were staying in ,I didn’t want to bother anyone at 11 at night so I waited. I report the problem in the morning (not to mention the outside lights didn’t work but that’s something I’m going to settle as a loss)by the time I’m done reporting the problem I receive a very rudely worded phone call saying I need to vacate the premises immediately and that the owner wants us gone for violating policies and trespassing. I was never told what policies I violated, but what I did not do is trespass and informed whoever was on the phone with me that I was being wrongfully accused of things I didn’t participate in.. I told them check the cameras to see.
