The Cottages area is quite stunning and beautiful. This property and all of the neighborhood have a great beach vibe and the facilities are amazing, although they had just emptied the pool the week beofre we went. The hosts are very reachable and communicative. That makes these stays easier. We thoroughly enjoyed it and the Oliver/Osoyoos wine, water and golf area!
Wonderful vacation home. The furniture was comfortable, the kitchen was extremely well-equipped, and the house was very well-maintained. We throroughly enjoyed our time here.
Loved our family stay at the cottages. Location was great as we were close to the beach and the pool! It had everything we needed and we would definitely come back.
We really enjoyed the landscape of The Cottages, close to the lake and pools, well cared for. The cottage we stayed in was beautiful, and lots of space for 7 adults. Thank you and we will be back soon!Michelle
We really enjoyed this cottage! The location is amazing - just a few minutes walk to the pool, beach, and boat docks. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to create delicious meals and the patio was a great place to hang out in the afternoons.
We spent 5 days with family (ages 3 to 73), & found we had ample space to be apart, but also easily get together for family meals. The house is well played out, the kitchen had everything required, & a small fenced in yard was a bonus. Easy access to the beach, safe playgrounds, excellent communal facilities, enjoyed by all.
Awesome rental. Will be back next year but hopefully for 10-14 days. Friendly neighbourhood, everything you need, nice clean house fully stocked. Highly recommend.
The cottage was so spacious and there was plenty of room for everyone! We loved the option of different spaces where we could gather - dining room, living room, family room, covered sunroom, outdoor patio. Osoyoos Main Street with shops and restaurants was a 15-min drive away, as was the disc golf course in nearby Oliver; and of course, lots of wineries. Thanks for the memories…

Liked: Location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness
As soon as we walked in we were greeted by swarms of fruit flies in the laundry room, kitchen and bathrooms. It took us 3 days of bleach, traps and vacuuming to quell the infestation. The dish washer gave off a putrid rotting smell from a grime covered filter and rinse agent cover, leaving dishes smelling after a wash. Lots of bleach and scrubbing took 30 minutes of our vacation. The couch and master bedroom head board needed vacuuming and dusting. Obviously not done in some time. We also find mouse or vole feces in the pullout couch in the sun room. We didn't find that until we cleaned the end when looking for a small piece of Lego. The fridge... just look at the picture. We spent as much time cleaning up the house as we did cleaning up after ourselves which was quite a bit of time. We don't like to live in filth and have enough respect for the owner and cleaning staff to leave it better than we found it. On the plus side, parking for 3 and close to the beach and pool. The strata is doing a great job of the pool and grounds.
We spent 5 nights in this accommodation. There was plenty of room for 6 adults and 4 children, ages 5-10. The 10 year old had his birthday while we were there. He told us that his experience was the best ever, even better than Disneyland. All of us enjoyed our stay very much and hope to do it again.
The Cottage is very attractive. We had lots of room to spread out, between the kitchen, living room, sun room and outdoor, fenced patio. We had a puppy and having a fenced patio meant that we didn't have to worry if someone left the door open and he got out. He enjoyed sunbathing out there. We preferred being under the shade of the patio umbrella.
The beach and lake kept the kids entertained for hours.
The unit had almost everything that we needed except for shampoo and we like having bar soap for the shower/bath, not the liquid soap from the sink. Small things!
Having to pay more than the posted rate was disappointing as there was no explanation provided.Great that we had 2 TVs but one did not have any telus box (missing??) and the other had a box but no PVR capability. We expected more. The bedding was of VERY low quality. The house and grounds are beautiful and we really liked the fenced in patio. We would prefer this house to the one we rented last year or the one we booked for next year. This one has the sun later in the day which was great for relaxing and reading
