About Debbie Allan
Brian & I are both Barbadians going back a few generations and have been married for 20 years. We operate a dairy farm on the island at our Plantation in St. John. We both were educated in Barbados and then furthered our education in London, UK and Canada. We have 3 Children, a boy and 2 girls who are avid surfers.
Why Debbie Allan chose Fitts Village
This property is an ideal location at a great price. The house itself has a lot of character and is the typical Caribbean style with a bit more flair. Our aim is to offer simple, clean, affordable accommodation with all the amenties to make your holiday great. Many moons ago the area use to be a small family farm and has been in the family for generations. The basic structure was brought from Guyana and was originally only one level, which was on stilts. We renovated the property adding on the top level and filling in the bottom level to increase its size.
What makes this House unique
On bus route to main towns Very close to supermarket, restaurants etc Located on a quiet beach mostly comprising of high end villas.

A wonderful get away!
Our stay at Oceans was exactly as we hoped it to be! The welcome basket was such a nice surprise to help us get started. The beach supplies were well stocked to provide so much entertainment on the beach for our family. The beach by the home was the best-no crowds, crystal clear water, and plenty of marine life to explore! The deck was the best part! We miss the gorgeous view of the plants and ocean and the hammock. Rosie was also so kind to bring our daughters some books to read. Thanks for everything Debbie and Rosie!
Carlos & Corrina,
Thanks for choosing Oceans and for the lovely review!
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and that the house met all your needs. Yes, the balcony is most guests favorite spot and many spend most of their vacation relaxing there. Fitts Village beach is a lovely quiet beach, and as you said, has great swimming and snorkeling so has the best of both worlds. We enjoyed meeting you and your beautiful kids.
We hope to see you guys again in the future!
A relaxing vacation, we love Barbados and beach life.
Its been a week since our 2 week vacation staying at Oceans in Fitts Village and wishing we were back on the beach or flipping a coin for the hammock. The accommodation is great and contained all we needed to fully enjoy our time there. Our hosts were fantastic - thanks Debbie, Brian and Rosie for making our stay so special, the welcome basket was excellent and the rum punch was fantastic of course! Special thanks to Rosie for introducing the girls to the "White Lady" cocktail and for remembering our anniversary .
It was our second visit to Barbados and we made the most of the local buses to travel to Bridgetown, Oistins and beyond. We also hired a car which we could park at the property and enjoyed exploring the whole island.
We can recommend the local restaurant and beach bar "Il Tempio" which is opposite Jordan's supermarket and enjoyed the walk along the beach for happy hour (16-00- 18:00) . We also enjoyed "Just Grilling" which is a bus ride away near the chattel village in Holetown. We also enjoyed plenty of home grilling on the Oceans deck.
A very relaxing break all in all and we are already planning our return.

An oceananic paradise
We have stayed in Fitts village many times before, however somehow have missed this beautiful home.. Debbie was there to meet us with a lovely welcome and showed us around her impressive house. The whole place felt spacious and had been created with great attention to detail. We were spoilt for choice with 3 shower rooms and two massive bedrooms. The chilling out areas outside were awesome, we even braved getting in and out of the hamoc...even after sampling the wonderful homemade rum punch that was left for us amongst all the other goodies. We were truly spoilt. We spent our days walking along the beach that was on our doorstep almost
,through a little gate...simply magical. Then a little stroll up the road to Jordans the local supermarket. There are bus stops each side of the road either taking you towards Oistins on a Friday night for the fish fry or down into Holetown to the resturants and bars. At 3 bds dollars there is no limit to where you can travel on the island. We went to visit relatives in St Thomas... hold on tight for this up country bus ride lol. The beds were comfy, plenty of pillows and fresh bedding and lots of towels. We are so pleased we found this amazing place and look forward to returning again soon. Thank you so much for making our stay one of the best so far... love Jacqui and David x

This was our 12th visit to beautiful Fitts Village and first time staying at Oceans. Actually disappointed we have waited so long.
Simply put, we stepped into a little slice of Caribbean perfection. Clean, cozy and sweetly decorated by Debbie who is truly a "super host". No stone was left unturned in providing us with the ultimate customer service experience. High end hotels could learn from her. Thank you so much for an outstanding holiday and truly caring about your guests happiness. So excited and looking forward to seeing you & Rosy next year and many after.
Thanks Phil & Monique for the great review! We enjoyed having you as our guests and are thrilled you were comfortable in Oceans.
We look forward to seeing you next year and onwards.
see you then!
Thank you to Debbie and family for making us feel so welcome. The house is well appointed and well equipped. Great welcome pack on arrival. We enjoyed the beach and beautiful sea on our doorstep, Rosie’s rum punch (best on the island) delicious lunches at The Fish Pot and Lone Star. We jumped on and off the buses which are cheap, fun, fast and frequent up and down the coast and loved all the different beaches we visited. We cooked bbq food and also some home cooked meals- the kitchen has everything you need for self catering. Over all a really great family holiday with our teenagers Tom and Emily- Plenty of space in the house for us all. The house was as described and looked in the photos. The road noise didn’t stop us enjoying our stay. We got used to it after a few days and the beach and sea a stones throw away more than made up for this. We loved seeing the little cat Millie who came to visit daily! Thanks again! Jane Guy Tom and Emily
