Nestled among the towering pines, short walk to the largest fresh water beach in the world! Park your car for free on the property and walk to the beach. Comfortable 1 bedroom cottage with pull-out couch, (sleeps 4 total) full kitchen. All of our cottages are professionally cleaned before each guest check-in. Beach 1 is the busiest beach in Wasaga with tons of restaurants and surf shops. Please remember to bring your own bedding.

Hello, we are the Klunder family, Jeff, Fe, 3 daughters, and we love to travel! When our kids were young we dragged our little camper trailer all over Ontario and even a road trip out West! As the girls got older, we graduated from trailer to cottage. We loved the cottage life so much we decided to take the plunge and get our own. We love this property because not only can we stay with our kids, but with 8 cottages in total we can invite friends and extended family as well! We bought this property during the pandemic as an escape from our daily routine. Jeff is a bit of a handy-man and Fe loves to decorate so this property was perfect for us! We are constantly making upgrades and adding our personal touches. We would love to host your family and friends too!
We can't wait to show you what we've done to the place so far!

Why they chose this property

Our cottage location has everything to offer. If you are looking to people watch and see all the surf shops and restaurants, then you've come to the right place. A short 5 minute car drive away and you are at a quiet beach where you can read a good book. You won't need to worry if you forgot to pack a toothbrush or need your morning coffee because the Walmart and Tim Hortons are just 5 minutes away. Blue mountain is only 20 minutes away and resembles that of an Austrian ski village. Lots to do in the village of Blue mountain including an outdoor theatre in the summer time. For the kids there is go-karting, mini-putt, paint ball and much more. Jet ski rentals, licenced tiki bar, para-sailing, golf, restaurants, hiking trails will keep you busy for the whole week! Make sure you invite your friends and have them stay at one of our other cottages!

What makes this property unique

We are one of the closest cottages to Beach 1. No need to pay for parking as you can walk to the beach from the cottage. Even if you are at the beach and forgot your towel or sunscreen, being this close to the beach is perfect because you can just run back and get it. Why pay for a room when you can get an entire cottage!
