We loved this property and would absolutely stay here again! The unit was so clean (husband even said he thinks it was the cleanest rental he’s ever stayed in) and we even had a crawling infant- so I took extra care to ensure the floors were super clean and they were when we arrived. Previous reviews had mentioned that the sofa bed was broken. We did not need the sofa bed so I can’t speak to that but the sofa worked just fine as a sofa.Overall we absolutely plan to stay in that unit again for future vacations.

We go to PCB every year for vacation. This is by far the cleanest, biggest and nicest room we have stayed in. We will definitely stay in this room for future vacations.

Phenomenal property

Extremely clean property, sizable rooms and large bathrooms. Very functional kitchen. Washer/dryer in unit. Well decorated and well kept, stocked well for short (week or less) stays. Incredible view from deck and so accessible to points of interest. Splash pad and ocean are SO CLOSE it’s literally a few steps from property’s elevator. Parking was easy and safe. 2.5 miles from pier point. We will absolutely be back to this property, it’s the best stay we’ve had at beaches across the gulf coast.

Beautiful property! Relaxing stay!

The property was just as stated. Beds were super comfortable and condo had all amenities we needed for a weeks stay. Communication with property management was awesome. We had poor drainage in bathtubs and a clogged disposal and they came in less than 3 hrs to fix it. Had no other issues. Beautiful beaches and great access to water and Alvin’s Island. Would definitely rent again.

Pros- Check-in was quick and easy with door code. The condo was fairly clean.The pools, and water park are great. The kids loved them.Cons- The couch was broken, as mentioned in another review..Theres no skillet to cook with, only pots and sheet pans, also mentioned in another review. The knobs on the oven are loose. Someone tried taping them on with electrical tape..The elevators get busy (as do 99% of condos in pcb). If you have a cart, or a lot of things you need to take up at one time, expect a 10 minute plus wait time.Elevators Mid days are busy, and around 5:30 - 6pm (dinner rush) (expect longer waits during holidays/busier days)4 star review because water park and pools are great. Review would probably be less without them. Condo could use some updates as listed above. Overall we had a good stay.

The condo was clean and organized upon arrival. The biggest concern was the washer didn’t work properly and even after several calls to the front desk, the problem was never resolved.

GReat place to stay. The only thing I did not like was the pool of nasty water on the beach to side of condo. And when it rained the beach front was black with it. I had heard it was the drain off from the road . That needs to be fixed! Other than that we had great time

The condo was clean and just as described. Got our family well. The only problem was the sofa bed l. It is not in good shape and all and probably should be replaced. I’m not sure what previous families did, but that thing is in a bad way! Didn’t matter at all, though. Everything else was perfect. Would stay there again.

Overall good not great

Everything was fine besides the living room furniture. The couch needs to be updated ASAP! You can tell by looking at it that it is busted so I can’t imagine if you had to sleep on it! Luckily we had beautiful beach days so we weren’t in the room much at all.

Great stay

We had a great time at Splash this week. I do highly recommend someone look at the washer because we only used it once and it sounded terrible. Also the dryer vent was not connected to the wall. I called Sunday night and was told they would send someone no one ever came the time we stayed. Besides washer not working we had a good time.

Like the location on the beach The condo was fine. It could use more comfortable furniture. I suggest putting more dishwasher soap in the kitchen. Most dishes in the cabinet were dirty and I’m guessing the previous tenants had run the dishwasher without soap so the food baked on. We liked the pools and access to ocean activities right in front of the building!

The property was good but need pressure washing of building and walk areas. The furniture was not good. Pull-out sofa was broken, so the cushions sunk down. The cushions overall was flat, so made our backs hurt. They need new furniture. Tub/shower was slow draining, so water backed up. Bed was semi comfortable. Was hurting and tired when we left. Could not wait to leave and get back home to comfort

Great water park but condo was not.

I will start by saying we had a great stay and loved the layout of our room, it was great for kids to have their own space and bathroom. The kids loved the water park and the food at the pool bar was really yummy. But we did have some issues. Our room when we first arrived had alot of cleaning issues. The bathrooms had beard trimmings behind the faucet, the toliets were not clean. We were greeted with a few bugs as well. Also the power went out every night about 3 or 4 times through out the night (of course just long enough to turn the baby monitors and sound machines off and then beeping the rest of the night) The front lobby was never open so in person communications were limited, also the lobby-walkway area was leaking & the ceiling just falling all over the floor. Overall we had a great stay because the beach was amazing & the kids had a blast at the water park but might rethink for next year.

Black mold, nasty cookware, broken couch, worn down furniture and multiple surfaces that just looked absolutely disgusting. I went through past reviews and there were multiple talking about the furniture and black mold but the host stated they would be fixing the issue when that party checked out which is why I decided to give this property a shot and stay anyways. Yet it doesn’t seem like anything has been improved in this condo! The listing photos show older appliances so they don’t even have updated photos. Don’t even try to get comfy on the living room furniture for vacation because it’s so worn down and broken that it’s impossible. I immediately let the host know that there was black mold and I was pregnant along with two small children staying there and they acted like it was no big deal. They sent someone out who ultimately wiped down surfaces that the black mold was showing on and went about their day. Their text messages to me stated that they would have the unit properly cleaned after we left but yet there was a new family coming to stay the same day. If you plan on cooking in the unit, just go ahead and pack up your kitchen cookware from home to use because the cookware that is available is all rusted and nasty. We bought biscuits, bacon and eggs for breakfast to save money but couldn’t cook. Save yourself the money and book with a different host! This is the 5th year I have stayed at splash resort and LOVE splash resort but this condo was absolutely disgusting!

Some Good, Some Bad.

Great room!!! Very open and spacious, balcony view was perfect!!!! But-- a few notable cons: the room needed maintenance cleaning (the sliding door frame was completley black on the bottom, and the ceiling vents were also black around them... mold?!), king bedroom ceiling fan was on HIGH and there was no pull chain so we couldn't turn it down, the resort grounds were not clean. We saw dead birds right outside the doors, the plants were dying, the grounds around the pools were disgusting and in desperate need of a pressure washing. There were 21 floors on each side of the resort with only 2 elevators, which worked pretty quick but we still waited for a while each time bc of so many people traveling up and down. We stayed for 5 days, and we smelled weed from both the balcony and down at the pool every single day. A roach was even dropped into the pool where we were swimming with our 4 year old. To us, that was the biggest pitfall of our stay. To have paid for a family-style resort, we were very disappointed by the poor management presence. We didnt see anyone working the grounds or regulating their resort rules/regulations. Overall it was a great vacation. The ocean was incredible!!! The room was big and spacious and we enjoyed being up on the 16th floor. Southern Vacation Rentals was good, but we will definitely not book this rental again at the Splash Resort.
