Salamanca Getaway Battery Point is a recently renovated apartment and offers a stylish experience in this centrally located area. The apartment also comes with secure undercover parking for 1 car (up to 2 metres high) and an open area kitchen / living space (no oven - for stays over 2 weeks we can supply an Air fryer). Wifi is included.
It is a 5 to 10 minute walk to Hobart's Salamanca Place, Hobart waterfront, and Hobart CBD.
The bedroom and bathroom are upstairs, with a beautiful open area spacious kitchen and dining room on the entry level. NOTE: there is no oven.
A recent addition to the bedroom is a lovely ceiling fan.
As the apartment is over 2 levels, please consider this if you have mobility issues. This property has STAIRS.

You enter the apartment into the kitchen / living area opening onto a private patio and upstairs is the bedroom and bathroom / laundry.
As the apartment has corner stairs, for safety reasons, we do not allow infants/children.
There is a Google Home speaker in the apartment if you wish to use it (it is in the apartment, but not plugged in). We love asking ours for upcoming weather, to tell us a joke, general info, or to play music (just be mindful of the volume (you can just say "ok Google, volume up or down")). To use the Google Home, plug it in and pair your phone to the apartment internet, and the Google Home, then when you want it to work say "ok Google", then what you want it to do.
Pin coded access to main front door and secure undercover onsite garage. Lockbox at apartment door will give key access.
There is a lift in the garage behind the stairs (near the air conditioners) to give access to level 1.
Security cameras and fire extinguisher are in the common areas.
We provide a small amount of complimentary snacks and beverages for hungry travellers if they want to arrive and have a bit of a relax before heading out. There is also a Nespresso coffee machine in the apartment (the small pods) in case you have a favourite flavour (we supply some pods).
As we provide some snacks, please let us know if you have any allergies.
Supermarkets close by (big name and specialty). Close to bars, pubs and food strips.
Public transport is very close by. Uber to the CBD or casino are generally around $8.

Fantastic Hospitality!! Great communications and the most well stocked rental we’ve ever had including food, kitchen supplies, and bathroom essentials. Good location in Hobart with easy walking to the harbor and CBD, plus one parking spot. Clean unit. Would definitely stay again.

Being close to Salamanca, the Hobart waterfront and the ferries (MONA, Bellerive) provides our guests the opportunity to walk and not worry about driving., but also gives the opportunity (by having a carpark) for guests to venture out for day trips.
What makes this property unique
Our property provides a secure undercover carpark (for vehicles under 2 metres), as well as the ability to access Salamanca, Battery Point restaurant strip, Hobart Waterfront (and restaurants). We offer limited breakfast provisions, as well as a few snacks, so guests can arrive, relax and unwind.
