Very homey and cozy lake view property. A perfect relaxing spot for a weekend getaway!

We had a very relaxing stay at this property. It was a very cozy and homey 2- bedroom cabin which was clean and had all the necessary amenities for our weekend getaway. I would recommend it to other travellers for a similar purpose.

What a great find! A thoughtfully curated vacation getaway. Everything we needed... and so much more than we used. We will definitely book again.Comfy beds, fully outfitted kitchen, terrific indoor and outdoor spaces, clear view of the lake, starry nights, close to the Village. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would go back and recommend it to people. It was comfy and cozy! It had everything we would need to make dinner and feel at home. We enjoyed watching all the busy birds in their houses in the morning that were across the road. And at night we had a fire one night in the pit in the back yard. It’s a good location with the village being so close by. Thank you for hosting us!

Weekend visits

As noted check in was easy. It was clean and well labeled as to location of various kitchen items, but could not find extra blankets. Because our stay was short we had no need for the use of a washer/dryer, however I would expect that if my stay was longer and the machines were in the house I would expect to use them and not have to go to laundromat.

Thank you for your feedback and for keeping the house clean. The property amenities do not include a washer and dryer, so you were aware of this when you booked, regardless of the length of your stay. The rental agreement, which you were asked to read before checking in, clearly states that guests must bring their own firewood. Despite this, you used almost 70% of my stored firewood, intended for winter, without asking for permission. I'm thinking as to how you justify renting a house for around $240 per night while using firewood valued at more than $200 per night!

Small getaway

Very clean. Everything for kitchen use I can think of. Owner said he has wifi. It was fine Owner said we had to bring our own firewood and he has a huge stack here. But we brought our own. The property amenities says there is AC but no there isn’t. Garbage cans outside were overflowing. We had to bring one bag home with us. And didn’t empty the other garbage inside for this reason. I would go again.

I have high-speed Wi-Fi with a booster, which has always worked well for myself and my guests, including those who work remotely and attend meetings without any interruptions. You requested the internet password on the second or third day of your stay, which was a bit surprising, as you are the first guest to ask for it. The password is clearly written on the three different routers located around the house. Regarding the firewood, I do have a large stack, but as stated in the house rules, it is not for guest use. Although you texted you used some regardless of house rules, and I asked that it be replaced, I noticed it wasn’t. I will need to charge you for that. There are two large garbage cans visible from the window in front of the gazebo for your use, and a compost pile at the back for organic waste, which is noted on a sign in the kitchen. I’m not sure why you didn’t use these, but I would have been happy to help if you had asked. As for the air conditioning, I did clarify that the property does not have AC when you inquired. Regarding communication, I felt there was an unusual amount of communication, including several texts each day, starting a couple of weeks before traveling which made the experience somewhat challenging.
