Our first time in Galveston and at By the Sea. Check in was easy and seamless. Instructions emailed prior were clear and easy to follow. Loved the view of the gulf and the outside seating to just watch the water and the people. The unit was clean and we had no issues. Great place and a great stay!

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!!

We loved the condo, it literally has EVERYTHING you will need, I had brought with me dish soap, dish sponge, a Keurig, coffee pods, etc...No need to unpack, they had it all. They even have snacks! I loved that they are thoughtful of their guest!

Great Condo!

The condo was great for our family of 3. It was in a great location and had everything we needed. A couple notes….read the fine print. I didn’t notice the 38 parking fee when booking, so that was a surprise, but it is listed (I just didn’t read all the way through).

Spectacular view

This condo did not disappoint. Everything was comfortable and cozy. Loved the beach decor with scriptural references. Building felt safe and secure. The front desk personnel were incredibly friendly and helpful! Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. You couldn’t ask for a better location overlooking the beach! We look forward to booking this condo again and would recommend it to anyone!

Best 4 day break in a long time.

We have stayed in at least three other apartments in BY THE SEA....This is the best so far. Super clean and the bed configuration was excellent. Toilet flush takes a bit getting used to ....explosive! Kitchen facilities were really good well organized and new. Everything worked.......all staff were friendly and cooperative. A great four day break.

Very comfortable, well appointed and stocked condo. Pretty much everything you could possibly want is there, including thoughtful beach towels. We were there during Francine and had a “down day” of just hanging inside. We weren't able to log into our own premium cable networks so take DVDs if you may want to watch a movie during your stay, but not a deal breaker. We will be back near year!

Nice Unit

The unit was very nice but the stairwell and elevators were dirty. The pool is not heated. There is no fitness center. Staff was friendly. Very busy highway between unit and beach.

Pros: I absolutely love the location. It’s really across from the beach and not in one of the slanted “views”. We had plenty of room and the place is gorgeous, homey and comfortable. I would’ve loved to stay longer. Cons: We ran out of toilet paper and was told we had to either buy our own or contact the company and wait for them to bring more. Lastly, there was hair in the bathtub and in the bed.
