Happy Canada Day!
We had the pleasure of staying 3 nights at this quiet, clean and beautiful cottage on the lake. We had a few storms during our stay but this was ok paired with the beautiful view. We had the chance to relax by the fire pit and the kids enjoyed the array of toys and activities.

Thank you for your review. We take great pride in providing quality service and a comfortable stay for all our guests.
Please note that a washer and dryer have never been listed as part of our amenities; however, there is a laundromat located approximately 15 minutes from the cottage.
We apologize for the rain and heavy winds that caused a few shingles to lift, resulting in a temporary leak above the kitchen island. We’re happy to share that the roof has since been fully repaired.
As the cottage is surrounded by nature, occasional wildlife activity may be observed, which we consider part of the natural charm of the area. We’re sorry that the presence of a nest was viewed negatively.
Our deck, indoor, and outdoor spaces are routinely inspected and maintained to ensure guest comfort and safety. We remain committed to providing a relaxing and peaceful experience for all our guests and appreciate your feedback.
Best wishes!
We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming cottage on Lake Erie, which was nothing short of spectacular. The cottage itself was cozy and well-appointed, offering all the comforts of home. What truly set this place apart was its stunning waterfront location—morning views of the lake were breathtaking and evenings by the water were tranquil and picturesque. Every aspect of our stay was perfect, from the peaceful surroundings to the thoughtful touches throughout the cottage. This place deserves more than five stars! I highly recommend it to anyone looking to have a memorable lakeside getaway.
Cheers,

We enjoyed a wonderful 3 nights at this lakefront property. House was clean and had all the little things you need to make your stay perfect! Deon was very quick with every reply and sooo accommodating. The only one small thing for us was that 2 ppl slept not so comfortably. We assumed the sofa bed was an actual pull out bed, but it wasn't, it was more like an extension to the couch. So i would say it is not well suited for full grown adults, better for children. Aside from that, everything was perfect! The views are stunning! We would definitely come back.
We had a fantastic stay at this cottage over the Labour Day weekend. The space was very clean and cozy, with plenty of room for our group of 5. The lake views were the highlight—sitting on the lounge chairs overlooking the water was incredibly relaxing. While accessing the water directly from the property wasn't as easy as we had hoped, Deon, the host, provided us with great alternative options nearby for swimming. The cottage even had yoga mats available, which was a thoughtful touch for those of us wanting to stretch and unwind by the lake. Our evenings spent by the outdoor fire made the experience even more memorable.
Deon was very responsive and kind, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our visit. The neighbourhood was perfect for walks and runs, with friendly neighbours. The Peacock Point General Store, just a short walk away, had the friendliest staff. The beach, hiking trails, and grocery stores were just a short drive away, making everything convenient without being too far from the cottage. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing stay.
