Welcome to our Dome in the Woods.

Enjoy a true glamping experience when you stay in our fully furnished dome nestled in the woods behind our renovated church home that is located only a 15 minute drive from historic Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse and the Swissair Flight 111 memorial site.

Offering a romantic and memorable experience we invite you to enjoy waking up to a forest view, have a relaxing moment in our outdoor barrel sauna or simply chill by the fire and gaze up at the stars.

Kitchen amenities include fridge, toaster oven, single induction cooktop, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, cooking items, dishes & utensils.

Other amenities include running water, shower, robes, sauna, BBQ, TV with Roku, outdoor propane fireplace, Indoor electric fireplace, free WIFI, electric heating, air conditioning and Solar fan.

We are a pet friendly environment so a pet bed, bowls and poop bags can be found in the storage space. STR2627B4988

Staying at this dome close to Peggy’s Cove was an absolute highlight. It had lots of amenities to make your stay comfortable and fun, and the space itself is super cozy, making it the kind of place you instantly settle right into.The private sauna is a fantastic addition to the stay—getting that heat going and then stepping out into the fresh coastal air takes the whole experience up a notch. It’s also amazing for nature lovers, as we got to see lots of wildlife like Blue Jays and deer right off the back deck.I would highly recommend this stay to anyone who’s looking for a fun adventure with lots of privacy.

Tanya & John have seamlessly blended woodsy charm with tasteful elegance. The Dome in the Woods had everything anyone would need from a well equipped kitchen to extra blankets, comfortable bed, climate controlled spaces, and even a box of bird seed to keep the blue jays and squirrels engaged right outside our window. When we had a problem figuring out how to operate the heat pump, a text message to Tanya had John at our door in short order to sort it out for us. Even in the 35 degree weather, we were comfortable lying cool inside.

It was a pleasure to stay here! It's well located, very cozy, spacious, and full of amenities. We felt nestled in a restful, secluded forest, yet not far off the main road. Our dog loved it here.

If I had to sum this place up in one word, it would be: WOW! The dome is exactly as described and shown in the photos. Every detail has been thought about - from pet supplies to kitchenware, and from cozy furnishings to practical motion-activated lighting. And if you think the place is amazing by day, it’s even better at night, with the warm glow of the dome surrounded by external solar-generated lights. The sauna is such a bonus and easy to use, and the welcome treats and bathrobe supplied were a lovely surprise. Although there are other homes nearby, you feel completely private. For the benefit of travellers unfamiliar with the area: FYI you can hear some highway traffic at night (for me personally that’s just white noise, but I could see how others might be surprised at first). And for those who might shy away from “glamping” because they’re concerned about washroom facilities: fear not - this dome has everything inside! The storage area is great for leaving bags and belongings so as not to clutter the main area, and has additional supplies if you need them too. It was fun to watch birds at the feeder and other wildlife; and even when it rained, it was relaxing to listen to it, watch it through the skylight, and to turn on the fireplace. I could go on, but you should experience this place for yourself! Thank you for the most magical stay!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Dome. It's comfortable, cozy and the perfect location for exploring Peggy's Cove. Fav things: the indoor and outdoor fire, sauna, and bird feeders. Constant views of blue jays, juncos, doves and chipmunks feeding and fleeting in the woods. The bed is really comfy, too, and there are plenty of appliances and kitchen tools to cook your own meals if you plan for what is available.
