From the owner: "Hi Eric, Thanks so much for the great review! I'm glad you loved the house and location. I was a bit surprised by the four-star rating since no issues were mentioned—if there’s anything we could’ve done better, I’d love to know!"
Clean and wonderful collection of art. My only recommendation is that you know it is one bed, one bath. VRBO filter said it was entire house, but Evolve description came back w/ 1 bed, 1 bath. Great outdoor table to drink coffee and view wildlife. Location perfect for downtown Prescott.

We didn’t want to leave!
What a gem; we have been to Prescott several times and didn’t want the limitations of a hotel. We were so happy with the cleanliness, space and amenities; there is not a single thing we would change other than having the weekend be longer. I highly recommend staying here, you will not be sorry!

Even better in person!
This space was absolutely lovely. It is very nicely remodeled inside and has all of the comforts one might want away from home. The king bed was noticeably comfortable and had nice linens. The kitchen was well appointed, and the host left some nice snacks. We had a family of deer visit and saw lots of birds. The host also provided recommendations for activities and dining. Its location within walking distance of Prescott Old Town is perfect. Also, a very short driving distance to some absolutely beautiful hikes. We will stay here every time we return to Prescott.

Prescott Visit
We wanted something different from a Hotel and we got it.It was a unique place indeed. It was nice to have all the extra space and kitchen area while we were looking at Prescott as a place to relocate. We really enjoyed our stay there and the eclectic interior decorating. The Welcome book gave us plenty of suggestions for restaurants and things to see and do. It perfectly suited our needs. We really liked Prescott and bought a place in Talking Rock as we like to golf and will enjoy the amenities. Prescott is a wonderful town. I think we will really enjoy it there.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
Good- not great…
Difficult to get to - angle of steep narrow driveway- the parking in the back is right in front of the back door kinda, and getting in and out is a rough rocky gravel path. Other cars are parked on the side of the driveway from the bottom floors. it’s not a single unit- 4 plex - we had music playing with the windows open and someone complained about the noise and said we were smoking. Neither of us smoke and the music wasn’t that loud but the windows were open. There was not a condiment in the place- no salt, pepper, no toilet paper, - Nothing. We had to buy paper towels, toilet paper all condiments- cooking oil, mustard, ketchup, we had to buy ice- they do have one ice tray. It’s a nice place once you’re inside, but for the money- there are better options.

Response from VrboOwner on 14 July 2025
From the Owner: "Hi Wade,Thank you for your review. I want to take a moment to address some of the concerns you raised objectively.First, the property is not a 4-plex. It is a 5-bedroom, 4-bath home with two long-term tenants who occupy separate units that do not share any common areas with the short-term rental space. This is clearly stated in the listing.Regarding your comment about the lack of paper towels and toilet paper, this is inaccurate. We work with a professional cleaning service that fully stocks essential supplies, including paper products, between every guest's stay. We’ve had no prior reports of missing items, so if something was overlooked, we would have appreciated the opportunity to address it during your stay. The driveway is indeed partially unpaved and located on a hillside. While it may not suit everyone’s preference, it is accessible year-round—I drive it regularly in a Prius without issue. Many guests actually enjoy the elevated views that come with the hillside location. Our kitchen is equipped with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, clean cookware, and a full set of dishware. We also provide basic cooking supplies, though we always encourage guests to bring any specific items they may need.Lastly, I do need to note that your party created a disturbance that affected other residents. We take the comfort and respect of all guests and neighbors seriously, and we ask all guests to follow our house rules to ensure a positive experience for everyone.Thank you again for staying with us, and I wish you the best in your future travels."
